Larfleeze
Larfleeze, also known as Agent Orange, is a supervillain appearing in comics published by DC Comics, usually as an antagonist in books featuring Green Lantern and the Green Lantern Corps. He is the primary wielder of the orange light of avarice, derived from the emotional spectrum of greed, and does not voluntarily allow others to wield that orange light. Hal Jordan refers to him at first as "Gonzo" because of his resemblance to the Muppet of the same name. The character first appeared in ''DC Universe'' #0 (April 2008), and was created by writer Geoff Johns and artist Ethan Van Sciver. Publication history Writer Geoff Johns developed Larfleeze as a key participant in the "Blackest Night" storyline, explaining at Comic Con International 2009 that he came up with the name "Larfleeze" by combining the words "lard" and "sleaze". The Orange Lantern Corps is a supervillain organization published by DC Comics. They first appeared in ''Green Lantern'' (vol. 4) #25 and were created by Geoff Johns and Philip Tan. Fictional character biography The Orange Lantern Corps is a faction of the Emotional Spectrum that is associated with greed. Some millennia ago, the Guardians of the Universe fought the Orange Light's keeper Larfleeze which nearly destroyed both sides. They reached a peace treaty which stipulated that the Orange Light was to remain buried and that Okaara would remain outside the Green Lantern Corps' jurisdiction. Threshold (DC Comics)
''Threshold'' was an ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics, as part of The New 52. ''Threshold'' is written by Keith Giffen and illustrated by Tom Raney. The series explores the space-oriented side and cosmic mythos of DC Universe. Publication history ''Threshold'' was announced on October 12, 2012, as part of a "Fourth Wave" of comics for The New 52. The series spun out of '' Green Lantern: New Guardians Annual'' #1 (March 2013), and ''Blue Beetle'' #16 (March 2013), picking up on plot threads that were developed. Giffen planned to re-introduce "dozens" of space-related characters into The New 52, among them: Omega Men, Space Ranger, Lady Styx, Space Cabbie and Star Hawkins. Sayd
Sayd is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe. She is a member of the Guardians of the Universe. Where most of the Guardians are void of emotion and rigid in their compliance to standard policy, Sayd's sensibilities are more in line with those of Ganthet, a Guardian known for his non-traditional mindset, and the two eventually entered a romantic relationship and later married.
