Francesca Di Lorenzo (; born July 22, 1997) is an American tennis player. She played collegiately for the ''Ohio State University''. On May 29, 2017, Di Lorenzo and her partner Miho Kowase won the NCAA Women's Doubles Championship. Personal life Di Lorenzo was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but raised in Columbus, Ohio, after her family moved there when she was around the age of seven. Her parents, Carlo and Daniela Di Lorenzo, are Italian immigrants from Salerno. Carlo is a physician at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus and Daniela teaches Italian at various colleges. Di Lorenzo attended New Albany High School in New Albany, Ohio. She has three siblings, and Cristina, her oldest sister, also played tennis at the collegiate level at Xavier University and graduated in 2017. New Albany, Ohio
New Albany is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio, located northeast of the state capital of Columbus. Most of the city is located in Franklin County and a small portion extends into adjacent Licking County. New Albany had a population of 10,825 at the 2020 census. The 2018 US Open was the 138th edition of tennis' US Open and the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It was held on outdoor hard courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City. Rafael Nadal and Sloane Stephens were the defending champions in the men's and women's singles events, however both failed to defend their titles. Alexandra Kiick (; born June 30, 1995) is an American tennis player. Kiick has won seven singles titles and two doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. In June 2019, she reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 126. In May 2014, she peaked at No. 214 in the doubles rankings. Career Between August 2015 and May 2017, Kiick did not play in any ITF Circuit tournaments.
