Frameworks are an American post-hardcore band from Gainesville, Florida that formed in 2011. The band released its debut album, ''Loom'', thorough Topshelf Records in 2014 before signing to Deathwish Inc. for its second studio album, ''Smother'', released on July 8, 2016. History Guitarist Cory Fischer invited vocalist Luke Pate to join his Gainesville, Florida metal band a week before they were set to record their debut EP after their previous vocalist quit. This metal band would eventually evolve into the screamo/post-hardcore band Frameworks in 2011. Recalling joining the metal band and starting his career as a screaming vocalist, Pate said: "I didn't have the slightest clue about what to do or how to do it, but I said yes for some reason ..I just kind of fell into it, and that's how it started." Converge is an American hardcore punk band formed by vocalist Jacob Bannon and guitarist Kurt Ballou in Salem, Massachusetts in 1990. During the recording of their seminal fourth album ''Jane Doe'', the group became a four-piece with the departure of guitarist Aaron Dalbec and the addition of bassist Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller. This lineup has remained intact since. They have released nine studio albums, three live albums, and numerous EPs. The band's sound is rooted in hardcore and also features frequent influences from heavy metal. They are considered pioneers of metalcore as well as its subgenre mathcore. Converge have enjoyed a relatively high level of recognition. Metacritic is a website that review aggregator, aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry. Metacritic's scoring converts each review into a percentage, either mathematically from the mark given, or what the site decides subjectively from a qualitative review.
