Four Music
Four Music (''Four Music Productions GmbH'') is a German record label founded by hip hop group Die Fantastischen Vier in 1996. It was originally located in Stuttgart, but has moved to Kreuzberg, Berlin. In 2004, Max Herre's debut album, as well as ''Confidence'' by Gentleman, and ''Viel'' by Die Fantastischen Vier were among the top 3 in the German album charts. The same year, the opening concert for the Popkomm solely consisted of artists signed on Four Music. In July 2005, the record label Sony BMG Music Entertainment took over 50% of Four Music Productions for a seven-figure sum of money. According to the Annual Report of Four Music GmbH of fiscal year 2009 to 2010, Sony Music Entertainment Germany GmbH has acquired all the shares of Four Music GmbH. Freundeskreis
Freundeskreis (meaning "Circle of Friends") also known as FK, were a German hip hop group from Stuttgart. They performed songs in German language, German, English language, English, French language, French and Esperanto. The members were Max Herre, Don Philippe and DJ Friction. They were a socially conscious German rap group that released three top twenty albums. Son Goku (band)
Son Goku was a German rock band who played a mix of hardcore punk, alternative, reggae, and electronic sounds. The band was named after the Son Goku character in the '' Dragon Ball'' series. Son Goku's first and only album, ''Crashkurs'' (Crash course), was released in 2002 and reached a peak position of 15 on the Media Control Charts. The group has since disbanded due to "dissension" amongst the members. History Origins Son Goku was a side project of Thomas D of Die Fantastischen Vier. The band originated from the M.A.R.S. (Moderne Anstalt Rigoroser Spakker, or ''Modern Institute of Adamant Spakkers''), a commune of artists and musicians founded by Thomas D in 1998. Miss Platnum (born Ruth Maria Renner on 27 September 1980), formerly known as Platnum, is a Romanian-German singer, songwriter and musician, currently signed to Virgin Records Germany. Marten Laciny (born 4 December 1982), better known by his stage name Marteria, is a German rapper. Mark Ćwiertnia (born 11 January 1983), known professionally as Mark Forster, is a German-Polish singer, songwriter and television personality. Career Forster is of mixed German and Polish descent. His father was born in Dortmund and his mother, Agnieszka Ćwiertnia, was born in Warsaw. His mother called him Marek and in his early days as a musician used the name Marek Ćwiertnia. Lance Butters (born 1988) is a German rapper. Born and raised in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany, Butters started rapping in his youth. Biography Lance Butters was born in 1988 in the South German town Friedrichshafen. In his childhood, his parents divorced, which he often mentioned in his music. Joy Maureen Denalane (born 11 June 1973) is a German singer-songwriter, known for her mixture of soul, R&B, and African folk music with lyrics in German and English. Early life Denalane was born in Berlin-Schöneberg to a South African father and a German mother, but grew up in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg. Jason Rowe, who formerly recorded under the name Jai, is a British pop and soul singer currently residing in London, England. Life and career Jason Rowe was born in Yeovil, England, in December 1969. He moved to London in the mid-1990s and began working with producer Joel Bogen. A single, "Don't Give Me Away", was recorded under the name "Jai" and released on independent record label M&G Records in February 1997.
