"Forever May Not Be Long Enough" is a song by alternative rock group Live, released in 2001. Originally written by frontman Ed Kowalczyk and producer Glen Ballard for the film '' The Mummy Returns'', the song was eventually included in the band's album '' V''. Radioactive Records had no intent of making a single out of "Forever May Not Be Long Enough", at most recording a music video featuring the band performing the song in an ancient Egyptian setting, interspersed with footage from ''The Mummy Returns''. Live (, often typeset as LĪVE or +LĪVE+) is an American rock band formed in York, Pennsylvania, in 1984 by Ed Kowalczyk (lead vocals, guitars), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), Chad Gracey (drums), and Chad Taylor (guitars). Kowalczyk is the only remaining member of this original lineup. The band started to gain attention following their single "Operation Spirit (The Tyranny of Tradition)", the video for which got regular airplay on MTV, and the moderate success of their second album, ''Mental Jewelry''. Chad David Taylor (born November 24, 1970, in York, Pennsylvania, York, Pennsylvania) is an American guitarist and backing vocalist for the band The Gracious Few and former guitarist for the band Live (band), Live. Live have sold over 20 million records, including the RIAA certification, 8× platinum album ''Throwing Copper''. Career Taylor was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the band Live and had appeared on all their albums to June 2022. He met his Live bandmates aged 13 in middle school in York, Pennsylvania, York, Pennsylvania. When vocalist Ed Kowalczyk left the band in 2009, Taylor formed the band The Gracious Few along with Live bandmates Patrick Dahlheimer and Chad Gracey and Kevin Martin (American musician), Kevin Martin and Sean Hennesy from Candlebox.
