Flipping Vegas
''Flipping Vegas'' is an American reality television series on A&E in the United States. The series premiered on June 18, 2011, and ran through September 2014. It features Scott Yancey and his wife Amie Yancey with realtors from their brokerage Goliath Company as they buy, fix and flip houses in Las Vegas, Nevada. Originally airing on Saturday mornings, A&E moved the show to Saturday evenings at the beginning of Season three. The show was moved back to Saturday afternoons for the final eight episodes. FYI and A&E split up Season 3's 23 episodes to make Seasons 4 and 5 on FYI. A&E lists it as only 3 Seasons. After the success of ''Flipping Vegas'', similar shows from other cities such as ''Flipping Boston'' and ''Flipping Miami'' premiered in 2012 and 2013. Scott E. Yancey (born July 9, 1969) is a TV personality, businessman, real estate investor, and author. He is best known for his role on the A&E television series, ''Flipping Vegas'', a modern reality TV show in which Scott and his wife, Amie Yancey purchase and repair dilapidated homes in the Las Vegas Valley, and attempt to flip them for profit. Early life Yancey was born on July 9, 1969, in Los Angeles County, California, and raised in Studio City, California, where he attended North Hollywood High School. Personal life Yancey married his future ''Flipping Vegas'' costar, Amie, on January 26, 2000. Yancey has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. All-terrain Vehicle
An all-terrain vehicle (ATV), also known as a light utility vehicle (LUV), a quad bike, or simply a quad, as defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI); is a vehicle that travels on low-pressure tires, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, along with handlebars for steering control. MacDonald Highlands
The MacDonald Highlands are a series of affluent residential neighborhoods in Henderson, Nevada in the foothills of Black Mountain. The neighborhood is part of the Las Vegas Valley. The highlands are situated approximately 15 miles (25 km) from the Las Vegas Strip and 20 miles (32 km) from downtown Las Vegas. It sits on the edges of the McCullough Mountains and overlooks much of Henderson and the Las Vegas Valley. It is one of the highest points of the Las Vegas area. Tannerite is a brand of binary explosive targets used for firearms practice and sold in kit form. The targets comprise a combination of oxidizers and a fuel, primarily aluminium powder, that is supplied as two separate components that are mixed by the user.
