Five-Star Thieves
Five-Star Thieves (Egyptian Arabic: لصوص خمس نجوم) is an Egyptian film released in 1994. It is directed by Ashraf Fahmy and stars Salah Zulfikar. It is Salah Zulfikar's final film role. Plot Galal Suleiman (Salah Zulfikar) is the manager of an investment bank where Shukri Abu Al-Fadl (Abu Bakr Ezzat) works as a legal advisor. Shoukry plans with his friend Youssef Elwi (Mostafa Fahmy) to loot the bank's money. Youssef arrives in Egypt and meets the director of the bank, Galal, and appears as a strong and honorable investor. Youssef uses his charm and wealth to influence Lubna (Dalal Abdel Aziz), Galal's secretary, who is rebellious against her poor environment. Ashraf Fahmy
Ashraf Fahmy (Arabic: أشرف فهمي 25 August 1936 – 25 January 2001) was an Egyptian film director, active in the Egyptian film industry since the late 1960s. He was credited with launching his career and directing his first feature film (The Killers – '' Arabic: القتلة'') starring the leading film star Salah Zulfikar making huge commercial success. Fahmy is a daring director frequently seen in film festivals worldwide, in addition he wrote the script of three films including (Until The End of Lifetime – '' Arabic: حتى آخر العمر ''), which is considered his most memorable movie. Salah Zulfikar
Salah El Din Ahmed Mourad Zulfikar ( ar, صلاح ذو الفقار; ; 18 January 1926 – 22 December 1993) was an Egyptian actor and film producer. He started his career as a police officer in the Egyptian National Police, before becoming an actor in 1956. He is regarded as one of the most influential actors in the history of Egyptian film industry. Zulfikar had roles in more than hundred feature films in multiple genres during a 37-year career, mostly as the leading actor. In 1996, in the centenary of Egyptian cinema, ten of his films as an actor and five of his films as a producer were listed in the Top hundred Egyptian films of the 20th century. Today it has more than three national channels, and several broadcast channels on satellite. Egyptian Arabic, locally known as Colloquial Egyptian ( ar, العامية المصرية, ), or simply Masri (also Masry) (), is the most widely spoken vernacular Arabic dialect in Egypt.
