María Fernanda Blázquez Gil (born July 21, 1973), known artistically as Fey, is a Latin Grammy Award-nominated Mexican singer, songwriter, designer, dancer, record producer, and director. She has released seven studio albums and done one international tour and a short tour to promote her third studio album. She rose to fame with her self-titled debut album, ''Fey,'' released in 1995, which was followed by ''Tierna La Noche'', and ''El Color De Los Sueños''. All three studio albums were produced by José Ramón Florez. Tierna La Noche reached #10 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. Career 1990s Fey released her first album, titled ''Fey'', in 1995, through Sony Music (Mexico). Within a couple of months of the album's release, Fey had scored several hits in her native Mexico, and had reached #1 with "Media naranja", "Gatos en el balcon", "Me enamoro de ti" and "La noche se mueve". ''Vértigo'' is the fourth studio album by Mexican singer Fey. It was released on May 21, 2002, by Epic Records and Sony Music Mexico. The album instantly succeeded in Latin America, topping the charts. The album took 2 years to complete. Musically, it incorporates elements of europop, electronica and alternative pop. It debuted at number one in Fey's native Mexico, topping the album charts and opening with an impressive 75,000 copies. ''Dulce Tentación'' (''Sweet Temptation'') is the seventh studio album by Mexican pop/dance singer Fey. It was officially released on May 5, 2009. This is her first and only album by far to be released on an independent label (Mi Rey Music) and is also her first in three years. Album production Fey calls the album "sensual, powerful and different; that's exactly the way I see women at this moment." The sound of the album itself follows the electronic and rhythmic influences of her previous albums. Mecano
Mecano was a Spanish pop band formed in 1981 and active until 1992. Mecano became one of the most successful Spanish pop bands of all time. The band is still the best-selling Spanish band, with over 25 million records worldwide. They were considered by some to be avant-garde for their time and part of la Movida Madrileña countercultural movement. They had a brief comeback in 1998.
