Fergal Lynch (jockey)
Fergal Lynch (born 26 October 1982) is an Irish hurler who played as a left wing-forward for the Clare senior team. Lynch attended NUI Galway. Born in Quin, County Clare, Lynch first arrived on the inter-county scene playing at under-age level for Clare. He made his senior debut in the 2002 National Hurling League. Lynch went on to play a key part for Clare and won one All-Ireland medal. At club level Lynch is a Munster medallist in the intermediate grade with Clooney-Quin. He has also won one intermediate championship medal in Clare. Throughout his career Lynch made 24 championship appearances. His retirement came following the conclusion of the 2013 championship. He will be part of the Clare Hurling back-room team for 2014 as a forwards coach. Clooneyquin GAA
Clooney-Quin GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village areas of Clooney and Quin, County Clare in Ireland. The club field teams in hurling and Gaelic Football. The club was founded in 1888 and its most notable player was Amby Power, who captained the Clare 1914 All-Ireland winning team. In 2017, Clooney-Quin reached their first county senior final in 73 years where they lost to Sixmilebridge after a replay. Conor Lehane
Conor Lehane (born 30 July 1992) is an Irish hurler who currently plays as a centre-forward for the Cork senior team. Born in Midleton, County Cork, Lehane first played competitive hurling at Midleton CBS Secondary School. Here he won Rice Cup and Cork Colleges medals before later featuring on the Harty Cup team. As a student at University College Cork, Lehane won a Fitzgibbon Cup medal in 2013. Lehane first appeared for the Midleton club at underage levels, winning a county minor championship medal in 2010 before claiming county under-21 championship medals in 2011 and 2013. As a member of the Midleton senior team he also won a county senior championship medal in 2013. Having played for Cork at under-15 and under-17 levels, Lehane was just sixteen when he was selected for the Cork minor team. He played for two championship seasons with the minor team. Clare Senior Football Championship
The Clare Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition organised by Clare GAA between the top twelve gaelic football clubs in County Clare, Ireland. The winners represent the county in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which progress to the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The Clare SFC final is generally held in the month of October and is played at Cusack Park in Ennis. In 2014 Cratloe completed a historic first Clare Senior Championship'' 'Double' ''in eighty-five years since the famous Ennis Dalcassians in 1929. In 2016 a Football Review Agreement decided that from 2019 onwards the Clare Senior and Intermediate Football Championships would both involve twelve teams in an effort to make both more competitive. Darach Honan
Darach Honan (born 21 March 1990 in Clonlara, County Clare, Ireland) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Clonlara and was a member of the Clare senior inter-county team from 2010 until 2017. Early life Born in Clonlara, County Clare, Honan is the son of Colm Honan, a former Clare hurler, and Máire Ní Ghráda, an academic and native of Cork. Honan was educated at the local national school before attending Ard Scoil Rís in Limerick. Here he concentrated on basketball and enjoyed much success at All-Ireland level with the school. Conor McGrath
Conor McGrath (born 29 May 1991) is an Irish hurler who plays as a left corner-forward for the Clare senior team. Born in Ennis, County Clare, McGrath was introduced to hurling by his father, a Toomevara native who was heavily involved in hurling coaching. He developed his skills in the Harty Cup with St. Caimin's Community School, while simultaneously becoming involved at underage levels with the Cratloe club. A dual player at the highest level, McGrath has won two championship medals each in both hurling and Gaelic football. McGrath made his debut on the inter-county scene when he first linked up with the Clare minor team. After little success in this grade, he later won two All-Ireland medals with the under-21 team. Shane O'Donnell (born 15 June 1994) is an Irish hurler who played as a forward for the Clare senior team. Born in Ennis, County Clare, O'Donnell first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Clare minor team, before later lining out with the under-21 side. He made his senior debut in the 2013 Waterford Crystal Cup. O'Donnell has since gone on to play a key part for Clare, and has won one All-Ireland medal and one Waterford Crystal Cup medal. Domhnall O'Donovan (born 29 April 1988) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for the Clare senior team. Born in Clonlara, County Clare, O'Donovan first played competitive hurling whilst at school in St. Munchin's College. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-one when he first linked up with the Clare under-21 team. He made his senior debut in the 2010 Waterford Crystal Cup.
