Clare Senior Football Championship
The Clare Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition organised by Clare GAA between the top twelve gaelic football clubs in County Clare, Ireland. The winners represent the county in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship, the winners of which progress to the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The Clare SFC final is generally held in the month of October and is played at Cusack Park in Ennis. In 2014 Cratloe completed a historic first Clare Senior Championship'' 'Double' ''in eighty-five years since the famous Ennis Dalcassians in 1929. In 2016 a Football Review Agreement decided that from 2019 onwards the Clare Senior and Intermediate Football Championships would both involve twelve teams in an effort to make both more competitive. 2022 Clare Senior Football Championship
The 2022 Clare Senior Football Championship was the 127th staging of the Clare Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Clare County Board in 1887. The 2021 champions, and holders of the Jack Daly Cup were Éire Óg, Ennis who bridged a fifteen year gap from 2006 to win their nineteenth overall title. They defeated the reigning champions Kilmurry-Ibrickane by 1-11 to 0-09 in Cusack Park, Ennis. The draws for the 2022 Clare club championships took place in April 2022. Kilfenora GAA
Kilfenora ( ga, Cill Fhionnúrach , meaning 'Church of the Fertile Hillside' or 'Church of the White Brow') is a village and a civil parish in County Clare, Ireland. It is situated south of the karst limestone region known as the Burren. Since medieval times when it was the episcopal see of the Bishop of Kilfenora, it has been known as the "City of the Crosses" for its seven (now five) high crosses. The 2023 TUS Clare Senior Football Championship was the 128th staging of the Clare Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Clare County Board in 1887. Ennistymon is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the town of Ennistymon, County Clare in Ireland. The club field teams in Gaelic Football and hurling competitions. Uniquely in Clare the club wears completely different colours in both codes - white and black for football, green and yellow for hurling. St Senan's GAA (Clare)
St Senan's, Kilkee are a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in Kilkee, County Clare, Ireland. The club participates in games organized by the Clare County Board. It is primarily a Gaelic football club. As part of the 2016 Football Review Agreement, a pathway was left open for any amalgamations that wished to enter the senior championship. Two intermediate clubs (Naomh Eoin and O'Curry's) from the Loop Head Peninsula took up this opportunity for 2019 and competed together as ''West Clare''. The 2018 champions, and holders of the Jack Daly Cup were St. Joseph's, Miltown Malbay who became the county champions for the second time in three years winning their fourteenth overall title. In 2016 a Football Review Agreement decided that from 2019 onwards the Clare Senior and Intermediate Football Championships would both involve twelve teams in a effort to make both more competitive. This meant that five clubs would lose their senior status and be relegated down to the Clare Intermediate Football Championship.
