Ferenc Cserháti (12 February 1947 – 22 July 2023) was a Hungarian Roman Catholic prelate. Roman Catholic Archdiocese Of Esztergom–Budapest
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom–Budapest ( la, Archidioecesis Strigoniensis–Budapestinensis) is the primatial seat of the Roman Catholic Church in Hungary and the Metropolitan of one of its four Latin rite ecclesiastical provinces. Áron Márton
Áron Márton (28 August 1896 – 29 September 1980) was an ethnic Hungarian Roman Catholic prelate who served as the Bishop of Alba Iulia from his appointment in late 1938 until his resignation in 1980. Márton held the title of Archbishop after he was raised to the honor despite leading a simple bishopric. He served as a prelate during a tumultuous period that included World War II and the emergence of a communist regime in Romania. He was even meant to become a cardinal but refused the honor when he learnt that another Romanian prelate would not be elevated into the cardinalate with him. The organization Yad Vashem honored him on 27 December 1999 as a "Righteous Among the Nations" for his efforts to stop the deportation of Romanian and Hungarian Jews during the course of World War II. Péter Erdő
Péter Erdő ( hu, Erdő Péter, ; born 25 June 1952) is a Hungarian Cardinal of the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church, who has been the Archbishop of Esztergom-Budapest and Primate of Hungary since 2003. He was president of the Council of the Bishops' Conferences of Europe from 2006 to 2016 and was the relator general for the Third Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in Rome. Erdő is reputed to have a special Marian devotion to Our Lady of Consolation. He is fluent in English, Italian, French, Latin and Hungarian, his native language. Piotr Libera (born 20 March 1951) is a Polish prelate of the Catholic Church who was Bishop of Płock from 2008 to 2022. He was an auxiliary bishop of Katowice from 1996 to 2007 and secretary general of the Polish Episcopal Conference from 1998 to 2007. Biography Piotr Libera was born on 20 March 1951 in Szopienice. After completing high school, he entered the seminary in 1969. From 1970 to 1972 he performed his compulsory military service in Bartoszyce.
