Turulung
Turulung ( hu, Túrterebes, ; rue, Туртеребеш) is a commune of 3,910 inhabitants situated in Satu Mare County, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Drăgușeni (''Túrterebestelep''), Turulung and Turulung-Vii (''Túrterebesszőlőhegy''). The commune is located in the northern part of the county, on the banks of the Tur River. Tur (river)
The Tur ( hu, Túr) is a tributary of the river Tisza. Its sources are located in the Oaș Mountains in Romania. The Tur starts at the confluence of its headwaters, the ''Gorova'' and ''Turișor''. It then flows through Satu Mare County in Romania. The main town on the Tur is Turulung. Pál Reizer
Pál Reizer (January 6, 1943 — April 18, 2002) was a Romanian cleric, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Satu Mare. Born into an ethnic Hungarian family in Túrterebes (Turulung), Satu Mare County, he studied at the Roman Catholic Theological Institute of Alba Iulia and was ordained a priest in 1967 by Áron Márton. Under the communist regime, he was a chaplain at the parish in Sighetu Marmației, secretary at the Satu Mare diocese and a priest at a nunnery. In 1988, he was named parish priest at Sighetu Marmației. In 1990, after the fall of the regime, he was consecrated a bishop by Francesco Colasuonno, serving until his death. During his years as bishop, the diocese's institutions experienced an intellectual and spiritual revival. Jenő Schönberger
Jenő or Eugen Schönberger (born June 18, 1959) is a Romanian cleric, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Satu Mare. Born into an ethnic Hungarian family in Turulung (''Túrterebes''), Satu Mare County, he studied at the Roman Catholic Theological Institute of Alba Iulia before being ordained in 1985. He was assistant priest in Carei, Satu Mare and Baia Mare and parish priest in Petreşti and Satu Mare. From 1997 to 2001, he was spiritual director and professor of liturgics at Alba Iulia. In 2001 he became parish priest at Dorolț, and the following year he was transferred to Sighetu Marmaţiei.
