Fengxian District
Fengxian District, is a suburban district in the south of Shanghai with a land area of , a registered population (as of 2010) of 1,083,400, and 1.5 to 2 times more migrants. It is known for its relative rusticity, as well as its beaches and ocean resorts along the Hangzhou Bay. Lanhai Jinsha () is a common place for Shanghainese to spend their weekend. Overview Nanqiao is a major town in Fengxian district, which recent development has more than doubled in size. Of particular interest is Guhua Park which contains the " Three Women Temple" or "Ancestral Hall" (). During the Zhou dynasty, the King of Wu's three daughters hanged themselves rather than be caught by the King of Yue's soldiers. Nanqiao () is a town in Fengxian District, Shanghai. In the courtyard of Cao's family in Nanqiao, there is a plum that was planted in the Tongzhi period. This plum may have been planted by concubine Cao Zongnai. In 1996, the Fengxian South Bridge began to renovate the old town, and this Lamei was included in the scope of relocation. Hanyu Pinyin (), often shortened to just pinyin, is the official romanization system for Standard Mandarin Chinese in China, and to some extent, in Singapore and Malaysia. Shanghai South Railway Station () is an interchange station between Lines 1, 3 and 15 of the Shanghai Metro. It is the southern terminus of Line 3. Both the metro station and the associated railway station were formerly named Xinlonghua () when Line 1 first opened on 28 May 1993. Line 5, Shanghai Metro
Line 5 is a north–south rapid transit line of the Shanghai Metro network, running from station in Minhang District in the north to in Fengxian District was originally planned as the Minhang and Fengxian sections of line 1 extending south to Minhang.
