The Fengpu Bridge is one of several bridges that crosses the Huangpu River in Shanghai. Completed in 1995, this bridge links the S4 Shanghai–Jinshan Expressway between Minhang District to the north and Fengxian District Fengxian District, is a suburban district in the south of Shanghai with a land area of , a registered population (as of 2010) of 1,083,400, and 1.5 to 2 times more migrants. Huangpu River
The Huangpu (), formerly romanized as Whangpoo, is a river flowing north through Shanghai. The Bund and Lujiazui are located along the Huangpu River. The Huangpu is the biggest river in central Shanghai, with the Suzhou Creek being its major tributary. It is on average wide and deep, and divides the city into two regions: Puxi ("west of Huangpu"), the traditional city center, and Pudong ("east of Huangpu"). The Shanghai–Jinshan Expressway, commonly referred to as the Hujin Expressway () and designated S4, is an expressway in the city of Shanghai, China. It runs generally in a north-south direction from the Xinzhuang Interchange, a large interchange with the Outer Ring Expressway, the G60 Shanghai–Kunming Expressway, the G92 Hangzhou Bay Ring Expressway, and Humin Elevated Road in Minhang District to Jinshan District, ending at an interchange with the G15 Shenyang–Haikou Expressway. Minhang District
Minhang District is a suburban district of Shanghai with a land area of and population of 2,429,000 residents as of 2010. The original Minhang consist of present-day Jiangchuan Road Subdistrict (Former Minhang Town) and the eastern strip of Wujing along the Huangpu River in 1992, the surrounding Shanghai County merged with Minhang. It is mostly a residential district, though it is also home to some of the many factories and production facilities in Shanghai.
