Federica Falzon
Federica Falzon (born 17 February 2003) is a Malta, Maltese mezzo-soprano singer. She represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 on home soil with the song "Diamonds (Federica Falzon song), Diamonds", and placed 4th. Life and career Federica Falzon was born on 17 February 2003 in a rural village named Safi, Malta ( mt, Ħal Safi). She has been interested in music for most of her life, and has started singing at age 8. Her grandpa took her to karaoke clubs where most people encouraged her to take singing lessons. In 2011, Falzon sang in front of an audience for the first time at Festa Hiliet. There, she sang two songs - "Sailing (Sutherland Brothers song), Sailing" by The Sutherland Brothers, and "Rose Garden (Lynn Anderson song), Rose Garden" by Lynn Anderson. Ħal Safi, Malta
Safi ( mt, Ħal Safi) is a village in the Southern Region, Malta, Southern Region of Malta, bordering Żurrieq and Kirkop. It has a population of 2,126 people as of March 2014. The formation of the village, as known today, goes back Ta' Ġawhar Tower, to the Punic-Roman period. The village of Ħal Safi is surrounded by four other major villages. Farmers and peasants used to interact on their way back home from work. After a niche was erected, people began to settle, a new village started to form and expanded over the years. In 1417, the village was already recorded as being named Ħal Safi. According to 1419 records of the ''Standing Army'' (id-Dejma), counting between eighty and ninety people, were considered as village residents. Floriana ( mt, Il-Furjana or ''Il-Floriana''), also known by its title Borgo Vilhena, is a fortified town in the South Eastern Region area of Malta, just outside the capital city Valletta. It has a population of 2,205 as of March 2014. Destiny Chukunyere Midalja għall-Qadi tar-Repubblika, M.Q.R. (born 29 August 2002) is a Maltese singer. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, where she represented Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, Malta with the song "Not My Soul". In 2017, she participated in the Britain's Got Talent (series 11), eleventh series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' and finished 6th in the second semi-final and thus was eliminated. Gaia Cauchi M.Q.R. (born 19 November 2002) is a Maltese singer. She represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and won the contest with her song " The Start". Joseph Calleja
Joseph Calleja (born January 22, 1978) is a Maltese operatic tenor. Early life and career Calleja was born in Attard, Malta. He began singing at the age of 16, having been discovered by tenor Brian Cefai and continued his studies with Maltese tenor Paul Asciak. He attended De La Salle College. At the age of 19 he made his operatic debut as Macduff in Verdi's '' Macbeth'' at the Astra Theatre in Gozo and went on to become a prize winner at the Belvedere Hans Gabor Competition the same year. In 1998 he won the Caruso Competition in Milan and was a prize winner in Plácido Domingo's Operalia in 1999. On November 2, 2012, the University of Malta presented Calleja with a Doctor of Literature Honoris Causa in acknowledgment of his achievements as an internationally renowned tenor.
