Farrell Lines Incorporated was a boat company named in 1948 after James A. Farrell, Jr., and John J. Farrell, sons of James Augustine Farrell, president of US Steel. Farrell is a ghost town in Pershing County, Nevada, United States. L. H. Egbert discovered ore near Farrell in 1863. Gold and silver ore was discovered in the area in 1905, 1907 and 1908. Farrell was located in the Stonehouse Canyon at the northern end of the Seven Troughs mining district in the Seven Troughs Range The Seven Troughs Range is a mountain range in western Pershing County, Nevada. The name is derived from a series of seven stock watering troughs placed below a set springs. Neighboring features include:''Lovelock, Nevada,'' 30x60 minute quadra .... On July 12, 1912, a flood devastated the area, killing 8 people in nearby Mazuma. The area never really recovered after the flood. Arsenio Farell Cubillas (June 30, 1921 – May 15, 2005) was a Mexican lawyer and politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as Secretary of Labor in the cabinets of Miguel de la Madrid and Carlos Salinas and headed the Federal Comptroller's Secretariat in the cabinet of Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de León. Farell Cubillas was born in Mexico City to Spanish immigrants Enrique Farell Solá and Consuelo Cubillas Gutiérrez. His brother was General Luis Farell Cubillas. Farell Duclair (born May 10, 1972) is a former Canadian football fullback who played four seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Calgary Stampeders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was drafted by the Stampeders with the eighth overall pick in the 1996 CFL Draft. He first enrolled at Vanier College before transferring to Northern Illinois University and lastly Concordia University. Duclair was also a member of the Toronto Argonauts. College career Duclair played for the Vanier Cheetahs of Vanier College from 1990 to 1991. The Cheetahs won the 1991 Quebec Cegep Provincial championship.
