Perry Farrell (born Peretz Bernstein; March 29, 1959) is an American singer, songwriter and musician, best known as the frontman of the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction. Farrell created the touring festival Lollapalooza as part (one of the venues) of a farewell tour for Jane's Addiction in 1991; it has since evolved into an annual destination festival. Farrell continues to produce Lollapalooza with partners William Morris Agency and C3 Presents. Farrell has also led the alternative rock groups Porno for Pyros and Satellite Party. Early life Craig Wayne Farrell was born on 5 December 1982 in Middlesbrough, Cleveland, where he grew up and attended Beechwood First School as a child. Andrew James Farrell (born 7 October 1965) is an English former professional association footballer who played as a midfielder in the Football League for Colchester United, Burnley, Wigan Athletic and Rochdale. Career Farrell's career began with hometown club Colchester United, making over 100 league appearances, before he moved on to play over 300 games for the Burnley, becoming the only player in the club's history to appear in two Wembley finals and wear numbers one to 11 during his time at Turf Moor. He went on to make appearances for Wigan Athletic, Rochdale, Morecambe and Leigh RMI before launching his coaching career. Luke Thomas Farrell (born June 7, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He made his MLB debut in 2017 with the Kansas City Royals and has also played for the Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Minnesota Twins, and Cincinnati Reds. Career Amateur Farrell attended Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio, and Northwestern University, where he played college baseball for the Northwestern Wildcats. Major Kerby Farrell (September 3, 1913 – December 17, 1975) was an American professional baseball player, coach and manager. He was a longtime minor league manager who spent a single season — 1957 — managing in Major League Baseball for the Cleveland Indians. Joseph F. Farrell (1857–April 17, 1893) was an American professional baseball player whose career spanned from 1880 to 1888. Farrell was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1857. He played four seasons in Major League Baseball, principally as a third baseman, for the Detroit Wolverines of the National League from 1882 to 1884 and for the Baltimore Orioles of the American Association in 1886. In 1883, he led the National League in games played at third base (101) and ranked second among the league's third basemen with 248 assists and third with 13 double plays and a range factor of 3.55.
