Farmclub
''Farmclub.com'' is an American TV show, which aired on USA Network. It was broadcast from January 31, 2000 to June 15, 2001. The show's content featured "it" musical artists of the moment and promoted unsigned bands through national exposure and website interaction, with such featured moments as the return of N.W.A., in which Snoop Dogg substituted for the late Eazy-E. ''Farmclub.com'' signed artists to real record deals and put their albums out through partnerships with Interscope, Def Jam, Universal, and other labels. The unsigned artists were selected from viewer votes from their website of the same name. Hosted by model/actress and former Miss USA 1996 Ali Landry and former MTV VJ Matt Pinfield, the show's label signed artists such as: British DJ Sonique, and rock bands Dynamite Hack and Sev. Sev (band)
Sev was a rock band from the Northern Virginia area who appeared in a national advertising campaign for Pepsi Blue. Sev also appeared on the website come-alive show Farmclub and performed at HFStival, the summer festival in the Washington D.C. area that typically sets off the summer concert season. In the two decades since then, the band has toured North America and shared the stage with dozens of other local bands and platinum–selling artists of the era, including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, 311, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Kid Rock, Avril Lavigne, and Korn. Jimmy Iovine
James Iovine ( ; ; born March 11, 1953) is an American entrepreneur, record executive, and media proprietor best known as the co-founder of Interscope Records. Susie Lewis is an American writer and producer who co-created the MTV animated series ''Daria''. Personal life Lewis attended Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated from New York Institute of Technology in New York City. At The Drive-In
At the Drive-In was an American post-hardcore band from El Paso, Texas, formed in 1994. The band's most recent line-up consisted of Cedric Bixler-Zavala (vocals), Omar Rodríguez-López (guitar, vocals), Paul Hinojos (bass), Tony Hajjar (drums) and Keeley Davis (guitar, vocals). After several early line-up changes, the band solidified into a five-piece, consisting of Bixler-Zavala, Rodríguez-López, Jim Ward, Hinojos and Hajjar. At the Drive-In released three studio albums and five EPs before breaking up in 2001. Their third and final album before their split, 2000's '' Relationship of Command'', received a number of accolades and is cited as a landmark of the post-hardcore genre. Chimaira
Chimaira () is an American heavy metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed in August 1998, the group was a member of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal scene. The band's name is derived from the word Chimera, a monstrous creature in Greek mythology. Throughout its history, the band had numerous line-up changes, leaving vocalist Mark Hunter as the only constant member. The band dissolved in 2014, but announced a one-off reunion in late 2017 wherein most of the group's longtime members rejoined. Dog Fashion Disco is an American heavy metal band from Rockville, Maryland, that was originally active from 1995 to 2007 before disbanding. The band officially reunited on October 10, 2013. Cold is an American rock band, from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1986 by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Scooter Ward, drummer Sam McCandless, bassist Jeremy Marshall and lead guitarist Matt Loughran.
