Farideh Lashai
Farideh Lashai (, also Romanization, Romanized as Farideh Lāshāyī; 1944 – February 24, 2013) was an Iranian peoples, Iranian Painting, painter. She was born in Rasht, Iran. She was also a writer and translator. Her foremost book is ''Shal Bamu''. She is renowned for her abstract contemporary paintings, which are a combination of traditional and contemporary views of nature. Life After finishing high school, she went to Germany. After studying in the school of translation in Munich, she studied decorative arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She then worked for two years in Reidel company. Her paintings combined the traditional art with contemporary art, including techniques deriving from late 17th century northern Europe. The traditions of Paul Cézanne, and those of the Far East are present in her works, and yet her works are considered to have a contemporary view of nature. Paul Cézanne ( , , ; ; 19 January 1839 – 22 October 1906) was a French artist and Post-Impressionism, Post-Impressionist painter whose work laid the foundations of the transition from the 19th-century conception of artistic endeavour to a new and radically different world of art in the 20th century. History The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna was founded in 1692 as a private academy modelled on the Accademia di San Luca and the Parisien Académie de peinture et de sculpture by the court-painter Peter Strudel, who became the ''Praefectus Academiae Nostrae''.
