Faqir Nabi, also credited as Faqeer Nabi ( Afghanistan, – 26 June 2020), was an Afghan film actor whose professional career in Afghan cinema and Bollywood spanned more than 22 years. Nabi appeared in more than 40 Afghan films, including a starring role in '' Akhtar-e-Maskhara''. Nabi made his film debut in the Afghan movie, ''Siah Moye Jalali''. He also appeared in a series of Bollywood films, including '' Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai'' (2000), opposite Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan. He played the role of Kapala, one of the famous negative characters from the popular TV series '' Shaktimaan''. He was part of an unfinished film, ''Soqot'' that featured in a documentary about unfinished Afghan films, titled as ''What We Left Unfinished''. What We Left Unfinished
''What We Left Unfinished'' is a 2019 Afghan documentary film by Mariam Ghani about five incomplete Afghan films, all started during the Communist regime of Afghanistan. The film premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2019. Background and synopsis During the rule of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan, the government invested heavily in the film industry, sponsoring many films. Filmmakers were provided with military support too, often using live ammunition and real soldiers on the sets. These films thus also served as propaganda for the regime. The documentary is a culmination of Ghani's six years of research at Afghanistan's National Film Archive in Kabul. Ghani worked to digitise films from the archive and organised multiple screenings of these at museums and universities around the world. Shaktimaan is an Indian Hindi-language superhero television show, created by Mukesh Khanna that aired on DD National from 13 September 1997 to 27 March 2005. Producer Mukesh Khanna played the role of Shaktimaan and his alter ego "Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri", a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz.
