''Fantasian'' is a 2021 role-playing video game co-developed and published by Hawaii (state), Hawaii-based studio Mistwalker for iOS devices through the Apple Arcade service. It was produced and written by Hironobu Sakaguchi with music by Nobuo Uematsu, who are best known as the original creators and pioneers behind the ''Final Fantasy'' series. The game is split into two parts, with the first released worldwide on April 2, 2021, and the second part released on August 13, 2021. Plot The game's plot revolves around Leo, a young man who becomes amnesiac after isekai, entering an alternate universe known as the Machine Realm. Mistwalker
is an independent video game development studio. The company was founded in July 2004 by Hironobu Sakaguchi, best known for his work at Square including creating the ''Final Fantasy'' series. The company has created both game franchises such as '' Blue Dragon'' and ''Terra Battle'', and standalone titles including ''Lost Odyssey'' (2007) and ''The Last Story'' (2011). Hironobu Sakaguchi
is a Japanese game designer, director, producer, and writer. Originally working for Square (later Square Enix) from 1983 to 2003, he departed the company and founded independent studio Mistwalker in 2004. He is known as the creator of the ''Final Fantasy'' franchise, in addition to other titles during his time at Square. At Mistwalker, he is known for creating the ''Blue Dragon'' and ''Terra Battle'' series among several standalone titles, moving away from home consoles and creating titles for mobile platforms. Originally intending to become a musician, he briefly studied electronics and programming, joining Square as a part-time employee, then later a full-time employee when Square became an independent company in 1986. Nobuo Uematsu
is a Japanese composer and keyboardist best known for his contributions to the ''Final Fantasy'' video game series by Square Enix. A self-taught musician, he began playing the piano at the age of twelve, with English singer-songwriter Elton John as one of his biggest influences. Uematsu joined Square in 1986, where he first met ''Final Fantasy'' creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. The two later worked together on many games at the company, most notably in the ''Final Fantasy'' series. After nearly two decades with Square, Uematsu left in 2004 to create his own production company and music label, Dog Ear Records. Arzest Corporation (Japanese: アーゼスト, Hepburn: Āzesuto) is a Japanese video game development company that develops games for video game consoles. It was formed on June 25, 2010 by key members of Artoon, which was also founded by Executive Vice President Naoto Ohshima, best known as the character designer of Sonic the Hedgehog, as well as his nemesis Dr. Eggman.
