Falavarjan County ( fa, شهرستان فلاورجان) is in Isfahan province, Iran. The capital of the county is the city of Falavarjan. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 232,019 in 60,613 households. Retrieved 25 October 2022The following census in 2011 counted 247,014 people in 71,802 households. At the 2016 census, the county's population was 249,814 in 77,213 households. Pir Bakran Mausoleum
The Pir Bakran mausoleum is a historical mausoleum in Pir Bakran, the capital of Pir Bakran District. The mausoleum dates back to the Ilkhanid era. The names of The Rashidun Caliphs on its inscriptions show that the building belongs the early times of the conversion of mongols to islam and they were still sunnite. The courtyard of the mausoleum is surrounded by walls, small iwans and the arched portals of the main iwan and decorated by some inscriptions with Kufic scripts and stuccoes with the form of flowers and bushes, which are the works of Mohammad Naghash. Mohammad ebn-e Bakran's grave is located behind the courtyard. On the northern side of it, there's a small closed room, which was probably his teaching place. Zayanderud
Zayanderud ( fa, Zāyanderud, script=Latn, from "fertile" or "life giver", and "river"), also spelled as ''Zayandeh-Rood'' or ''Zayanderood'', is the largest river of the Iranian Plateau in central Iran.
