Fahad Ebrahim Al Ansari ( ar, فهد إبراهيم الأنصاري, born 25 February 1987) is a former Kuwaiti footballer who plays as a midfielder for Al Qadsia and the Kuwait national team. Kuwait City
Kuwait City ( ar, مدينة الكويت) is the capital and largest city of Kuwait. Located at the heart of the country on the south shore of Kuwait Bay on the Persian Gulf, it is the political, cultural and economical centre of the emirate, containing Kuwait's Seif Palace, government offices, and the headquarters of most Kuwaiti corporations and banks. 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification – AFC Second Round
The AFC second round of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, which also served as the second round of 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualification, was played from 5 September 2019 to 15 June 2021. Format A total of forty teams were drawn into eight groups of five to play home-and-away round-robin matches. They included the 34 teams (teams ranked 1–34 in the AFC entrant list) which received byes to this round, and the six winners from the first round. Seven group winners (excluded Qatar, who had already qualified to the World Cup as tournament host) and the five best runners-up advanced to the third round. The 2014 AFC Cup was the 11th edition of the AFC Cup, a association football, football competition organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for clubs from "developing countries" in Asia. Kuwait SC, Al-Kuwait were the two-time defending champions, but were eliminated by Persipura Jayapura in the quarter-finals. AFC Cup
The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. Clubs from Kuwait have won four titles, making them the most successful nation in the competition. The Kuwait Super Cup ( ar, كأس السوبر الكويتي) is an annual one-match association football competition in Kuwait organised by Kuwait Football Association (KFA). This competition serves as the season opener and is played between the Kuwaiti Premier League champions and the Kuwait Emir Cup winners of the previous season. The first game was played in 2008. The 2013–14 Kuwaiti Premier League season was the 52nd since the league's establishment. This season in the Kuwaiti Premier League, there were 14 teams. This was the first time there had been 14 teams since the 2005–06 season. Kuwait SC came into this tournament as defending champion after they won the title last season following four seasons without a league title. Teams This season's Kuwaiti Premier League featured all 14 teams of the football pyramid, combining both the Premier League and Division One together, a structure last used in the 2005–06 Kuwaiti Premier League season. The 2011–12 Kuwaiti Premier League season was the 50th since its establishment. The season started on 30 December with the regular league season finishing on 1 June. A relegation play-off match was needed to end the campaign on the 5 and 8 June. Teams Al Sahel were relegated to the Kuwaiti Division One league after finishing bottom in the 2010–11 season. They were replaced by Al Shabab, back in the top flight for the first time since relegation in the 2008–09 campaign.
