FK Proleter Novi Sad
FK Proleter Novi Sad () is a defunct football club based in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia. They competed in the Serbian SuperLiga for four seasons between 2018 and 2022, before merging with RFK Novi Sad 1921. History Founded in 1951, the club won the Serbian League Vojvodina in the 2008–09 season and took promotion to the Serbian First League. They spent the following nine years in the second tier of Serbian football, before winning the title and earning promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga for the first time in their history. During this period, the club also reached the Serbian Cup round of 16 on five occasions. They would finish in eight place in their debut appearance in the top flight. After spending four seasons in the Serbian SuperLiga, the club suffered relegation in 2021–22, before merging with RFK Novi Sad 1921. 2021–22 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2021–22 Serbian SuperLiga will be the 16th season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment in 2006. Red Star Belgrade, Red Star are the defending champions, having won their 7th SuperLiga and 32nd domestic title in the 2020–21 Serbian SuperLiga, previous season. Start and end dates, fixtures and competition format were released on 22 June 2021. Summary Number of teams in the league for this season was reduced from 20 to 16 from last season which had increased number of teams due to COVID-19 pandemic. Before the start of the season, on 16 June 2021, it was announced that number of teams in the league will again be reduced at the end of season - this time to 14. Because of that 4 teams will be relegated while only 2 will be promoted from Serbian First League. 2007–08 Serbian Cup
The 2007–08 Serbian Cup season is the second season of Serbia's football knockout competition. Red Star, the holders of the Lav Kup Srbije, began the tournament as favorites to lift the cup again. It seemed as though Red Star where on their way to winning the cup again having passed all stages with class. Then came the semifinal clash with arch-rival Partizan in what many considered the game of the tournament. The match came with much controversy due to a goal Red Star scored late that was flagged for offside. The replays clearly showed that Red Star's midfielder Nenad Milijaš was on, but what made matters worse was the fact that the referee apologized to him and admitted that he had made a mistake. Several days after the incident the side judge retired from refereeing and openly apologized to Red Star and the supporters of the team. 2014–15 Serbian Cup
The 2014–15 Serbian Cup season was the ninth season of the Serbian national football tournament. The competition started on 3 September 2014 and concluded with the Final on 20 May 2015. The winner of the competition qualified for the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League. Calendar Preliminary round A preliminary round was held in order to reduce the number of teams competing in the next round to 32. It consisted of 4 single-legged ties (due to the fact that Smederevo was dissolved leaving a vacancy in the preliminary round), with a penalty shoot-out as the decider, if the score was tied after 90 minutes. The Serbian First League (Serbian: Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 16 teams competed in the league for the 2014–15 season. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 18 teams will compete in this league for the 2012-13 season. 2010–11 Serbian Cup
The 2010–11 Serbian Cup season is fifth season of the Serbian national football tournament. The competition started on 1 September 2010 and concluded with the Final on 11 May 2011. FK Partizan won the title 2–1 over FK Vojvodina in controversial fashion. After a series of disputed referee decisions against Vojvodina, the team walked off the pitch and refused to finish the match, leading Partizan to be declared the winner as time expired. However, later this decision was revised pending further investigation. On Monday, May 16th 2011, the Cup final match result is registered with a Vojvodina forfeit (0:3 victory for Partizan).
