FK Blue Star Podgorica
Fudbalski klub Blue Star is a Montenegrin football club based in Masline, a suburb of Capital Podgorica. Founded in 2002, they currently compete in Montenegrin Third League. History FK Blue Star is founded at 2002, as a youth-categories team. Senior team is founded on 2006, and debuted in the inaugural season of Montenegrin Third League, finishing sixth among the eight teams in Central division. Biggest success, the team made on season 2010–11, winning the title of Montenegrin Third League champion after the hard struggle with FK Zora and FK Drezga. But, in the final playoffs for Montenegrin Second League against FK Igalo and FK Petnjica, FK Blue Star finished as a last placed team. The team won one title in Central Region Cup (2011), with playing in the finals at 2008. It gained them two participations in Montenegrin Cup. Stadion Masline
Stadion Masline is a football venue in Masline, a suburb of Podgorica, Montenegro. As a part of big complex of Military of Montenegro, it is used for football matches and is currently the home ground of FK Blue Star. History Yugoslav People's Army built the Masline complex during the 1960s. Among the facilities, used only by soldiers, was a football ground with an athletic field. Until the start of the 1990s, the complex was named after Josip Broz Tito and today is the ownership of the Military of Montenegro. Since 2002, the stadium is used by local team FK Blue Star. The Montenegrin Cup ( Montenegrin and Serbian: ''Kup Crne Gore'') is the national football cup played in Montenegro, established in 2006. The winner of the cup is awarded a spot in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League if they have not already gained a spot in the UEFA Champions League. Most successful participant until now was FK Rudar with four titles, followed by FK Budućnost with three and OFK Titograd who won it twice. FK Petnijica is a Montenegrin football club based in the town of Petnjica. They currently compete in the Montenegrin Third League - North Region. History Football club Petnjica was founded on 29 June 1977, as a first sports' society in the Bihor region. During the same year, FK Petnjica became a member of the Montenegrin Fourth League - North.
