FK Petnjica
FK Petnijica is a Montenegrin football club based in the town of Petnjica. They currently compete in the Montenegrin Third League - North Region. History Football club Petnjica was founded on 29 June 1977, as a first sports' society in the Bihor region. During the same year, FK Petnjica became a member of the Montenegrin Fourth League - North. The club played two decades in the fourth-tier competition, but its work stopped in 1997 due to financial reasons. In the next decade in 2006, the team was refounded under the same name. FK Petnjica became a member of the Montenegrin Third League and era of significant successes started in 2009. In the 2009-10 season, FK Petnjica won their first title of the Northern Region Cup winner, which gave them an opportunity for the first ever performance in Montenegrin Cup. Montenegrin Second League
The Montenegrin Second League ( Montenegrin: ''Druga crnogorska fudbalska liga'' – ''Druga CFL'' – ''2. CFL'') is the second-top football league in Montenegro. It is headed by the Football Association of Montenegro. Second Montenegrin League consists of 10 participants. The top team qualifies for the First League of Montenegro, the second and third one contest in a playoff match against the 8th and 9th team from the First League, while the bottom-placed two teams are relegated to any of the three third-tier leagues, to be replaced by the two winners of a three-way promotion playoffs, contested by the winners of the three Third League divisions. Montenegrin Clubs In Yugoslav Football Competitions (1946–2006)
Before the independence of Montenegro, football clubs from that country played in different competitions. From 1945 to 2006, Montenegrin club played in the leagues of SFR Yugoslavia, FR Yugoslavia and the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro. Upon the independence referendum, Montenegrin Football Association established their own competitions, with the Montenegrin First League as a top tier. Berane
Berane ( cyrl, Беране) is one of the largest towns of northeastern Montenegro and a former administrative centre of the Ivangrad District. The town is located on the Lim river. From 1949 to 1992, it was named Ivangrad ( cyrl, Иванград) in honour to people's hero Ivan Milutinović. The town has a population of over 11,000, whereas its municipality area reaches nearly 30,000 people, making it one of the largest centres of Polimlje area. FK Kom is a Montenegrin football club based in Zlatica, a suburb of Podgorica. Founded in 1958, they currently compete in the Montenegrin Second League. The team is known as a first youth club of famous Montenegrin player Predrag Mijatović. FK Bokelj
FK Bokelj is a Montenegrin professional football club based in the coastal town of Kotor. They currently compete in the Montenegrin Second League. History History of Bokelj started at the second decade of 20th century. The team was founded on 30 July 1922 as ''SK Primorac''. Primorac played its first game against FK Zrinjski Tivat and won 2-1. In 1926, the team was renamed as FK Bokelj and until 1941 played numerous seasons in the Montenegrin Football Championship. Berane City Stadium ( Montenegrin: Gradski stadion Berane/Градски стадион Беране) is a multi-purpose stadium in Berane, Montenegro. Also known as Stadion pod Bogavskim brdom, it is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Berane and FK Radnički. Also it serves as home ground of Athletic Club Lim. Fudbalski klub Mornar is a Montenegrin professional football club, based in the coastal town of Bar. They currently compete in the Montenegrin First League. History FK Mornar (''FC Sailor'') was founded in December 1923, as ''JSK Crnojević''. Fudbalski klub Blue Star is a Montenegrin football club based in Masline, a suburb of Capital Podgorica. Founded in 2002, they currently compete in Montenegrin Third League. History FK Blue Star is founded at 2002, as a youth-categories team. Senior team is founded on 2006, and debuted in the inaugural season of Montenegrin Third League, finishing sixth among the eight teams in Central division.
