FC Utrecht (women)
FC Utrecht Vrouwen was the women's football section of Dutch club FC Utrecht based in Utrecht. Established in 2007, as one of the founding members of the professional Dutch women's football league the team competed in the league from its inaugural season (2007–08) until 2011–12 and the BeNe League (Belgian and Dutch combined league) from 2012–13 until the team's dissolution in January 2014. AZ (women's Football Club)
AZ or AZ Vrouwen was a women's association football club based in Alkmaar and the Zaanstreek, Netherlands. They were affiliated with the AZ (football club), AZ men's team. They were founder members of the Eredivisie (women), Eredivisie Vrouwen in 2007 and won the first three editions of the championship. In February 2011 AZ announced they were withdrawing support for their women's section, for financial reasons. Telstar (women), Telstar entered a team in the 2011–12 Eredivisie (women), 2011–12 women's Eredivisie and most of the AZ players signed for the newly formed club. In Januari 2022 AZ announced they were looking into restarting with a women's section. Two months later AZ revealed they were going to financially support and were working closely with VV Alkmaar. ''Manon'' () is an ''opéra comique'' in five acts by Jules Massenet to a French libretto by Henri Meilhac and Philippe Gille, based on the 1731 novel '' L'histoire du chevalier des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut'' by the Abbé Prévost. It was first performed at the Opéra-Comique in Paris on 19 January 1884, with sets designed by Eugène Carpezat (act 1), Auguste Alfred Rubé and Philippe Chaperon (acts 2 and 3), and Jean-Baptiste Lavastre (act 4). Prior to Massenet's work, Halévy (''Manon Lescaut'', ballet, 1830) and Auber (''Manon Lescaut'', opéra comique, 1856) had used the subject for musical stage works. Massenet also wrote a one-act sequel to ''Manon'', ''Le portrait de Manon'' (1894), involving the Chevalier des Grieux as an older man. The 2009–10 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the third season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. The league took place from 1 October 2009 to 19 May 2010 with six teams. The Vrouwen Eredivisie () (Dutch for ''Honor Division'', ''Eredivisie Vrouwen'' before 2020), also known as the Azerion Eredivisie Vrouwen due to a 3 year sponsor contract starting from the 2022–2023 season, is the highest women's football league in the Netherlands. Organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) it was established in 2007 as a professional league and played for five seasons until 2012 when the leagues of the Netherlands and Belgium merged forming a single combined league ( BeNe League). In various sports, a forfeit is a method in which a match automatically ends, and the forfeiting team loses. There are two distinct forms of forfeiture. One occurs when a team is unable (or refuses) to meet the basic standards for playing the game, either before the game begins or as a result of actions that happen during the match. SV Saestum is a sports club from Zeist, Netherlands. It is most known for its successful women's football team. History The club was founded on 6 January 1926. The women's football section opened in 1981. Since the founding of the Hoofdklasse, Saestum plays in the league, which was the highest national league in the Netherlands until the creation of the Eredivisie in 2007.
