FC Lichtenfels
The 1. FC Lichtenfels is a German association football club from the city of Lichtenfels, Bavaria. History Formed in 1906, the club did not rise to prominence till after the Second World War, when it earned promotion to the tier-two Landesliga Bayern in 1946. The team became a dominant side in the northern division of this league, finishing second in 1947 and 1948. For the 1948–49 season, the league was reduced to a single division and the club came third behind Jahn Regensburg and SpVgg Fürth, who were both promoted to the Oberliga Süd. The following season, when the new 2nd Oberliga Süd was to be formed, a finish in the top-five was necessary to qualify but FCL only came tenth and had to remain in what was to become the tier-three Amateurliga Bayern. Landesliga Bayern-Nordost
The Landesliga Bayern-Nordost ( en, State league Bavaria-Northeast) is currently the sixth tier of the German football league system in northeastern Bavaria and the third tier of the Bavarian football league system. It is one of five Landesliga Bayern, Landesligas in Bavaria, the other four being the Landesliga Bayern-Südwest, Landesliga Südwest, Landesliga Bayern-Mitte (2012), Landesliga Mitte, Landesliga Bayern-Nordwest, Landesliga Nordwest and Landesliga Bayern-Südost, Landesliga Südost. The league champion automatically qualifies for the Bayernliga, the runners-up needs to compete with the runners-up of the other four Landesligas and a number of Bayernliga teams for another promotion spot. The Bundesliga (; ), sometimes referred to as the Fußball-Bundesliga () or 1. Bundesliga (), is a professional association football league in Germany. At the top of the German football league system, the Bundesliga is Germany's primary football competition. The Regionalliga () is the fourth tier in the German football league system. Until 1974, it was the second tier in Germany. In 1994, it was introduced as the third tier. Bezirksoberligen Bayern
The seven Bezirksoberligas Bayern were the third highest level of the Bavarian football league system, below the Bayernliga and the Landesliga Bayern from 1988 to 2012. They were the seventh tier of the German football league system. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the sixth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the fifth tier. The Bavarian Cup (german: Bayerischer Toto-Pokal), was created in 1998 and functions as a qualifying competition to the German Cup. It is one of the 21 regional cups in Germany. The Bayernliga (English: Bavarian league) is the highest amateur football league and the second highest football league (under the Regionalliga Bayern) in the state of Bavaria (german: Bayern) and the Bavarian football league system. FC Kronach
The FC Kronach is a German association football club from the town of Kronach, Bavaria. The club's greatest success have been its three seasons spent in the Fußball-Bayernliga, in 1971–72 and again from 1987 to 1989. History The club was formed on 5 April 1908.
