FC Elektrometalurh-NZF Nikopol (also referred as ''FC Elektrometalurg-NZF Nikopol '') is an amateur Ukrainian football club. The club is based in Nikopol, Ukraine and sponsored by the Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NZF). Brief history Metalurh→Trubnik In 1962–1970 in Nikopol existed another team of masters that was called Metalurh and later ''Trubnyk''. Following the liquidation of the Soviet Class B competitions in 1971, Trubnyk was disbanded. Elektrometalurh Stadium
Elektrometalurh Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Nikopol, Ukraine. The stadium holds 7,200 people. The stadium is located close to the Kakhovka Reservoir in the city's Park Peremohy. The stadium was a home stadium of FC Metalurh Nikopol. Currently it houses FC Nikopol FC Nikopol is a professional Ukrainian football club from the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk oblast and Makiivka, Donetsk Oblast before 2015. Ukrainian First League
The Persha Liha ( uk, Перша ліга) or Ukrainian First League is a professional football league in Ukraine and the second tier of national football competitions pyramid. Members of the league also participate in the Ukrainian Cup. It is the highest division of Professional Football League. History The league was set up by the newly reorganized Football Federation of Ukraine (a successor of the Football Federation of the Ukrainian SSR) with the falling apart Soviet Union as a second tier, lower than Ukrainian Higher League (Vyshcha Liha) and higher that Ukrainian Transitional League (Perekhidna Liha). The very first round of games that took place for this league was on 14 March 1992. 1994–95 Ukrainian First League was the fourth season of the Ukrainian First League which was won by Zirka-NIBAS Kirovohrad. The season started on August 6, 1994, and finished on July 2, 1995. In the last round the Kyiv club was only a point away and was visiting Oleksandriya, while the leading Zirka was hosting the former Premier League participant Bukovyna.
