Félix Asselin
Félix Asselin (born November 17, 1994) is a Canadian curler from Montreal. He currently skips his own team out of Montreal, Quebec. Career Asselin skipped Quebec at four Canadian Junior Curling Championships during his junior career in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. In 2012, he led his team to a 7–5 seventh-place finish and in 2013 he finished in eighth with a 3–7 record. His best result came in 2015, where he qualified for the championship pool with a 6–0 record. He then went 1–3 in the championship pool, qualifying for the tiebreaker. He defeated Alberta in the tiebreaker before losing to Saskatchewan in the second, ultimately being eliminated. His final appearance in 2016 was a 6–4 fifth-place finish. Out of juniors, Asselin joined the Mike Fournier rink at third with William Dion at second and Miguel Bernard at lead. Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts
Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts is a town in the province of Quebec, Canada, in the regional county municipality of Les Laurentides in the administrative region of Laurentides, also known as the "Laurentians" or the Laurentian Mountains (in English). 2018 Tim Hortons Brier
The 2018 Tim Hortons Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship, was held from March 3 to 11, 2018 at the Brandt Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan. The winning team represented Canada at the 2018 World Men's Curling Championship from March 31 to April 8 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, United States. This marked the fifth time the Brier was held in Regina, the first time since 2006. The 2018 tournament was the first to use a new 16-team format, featuring representation by all fourteen member associations of Curling Canada, alongside the defending champions (as Team Canada), and a new wildcard team. World Curling Tour
The World Curling Tour (WCT) is a group of curling bonspiels featuring the best male, female, and mixed doubles curlers in the world. History The World Curling Tour was founded by former World Champion Ed Lukowich, with later assistance from John Kawaja. The World Curling Tour commenced in 1992, with men's events only at first. It replaced the "Canadian Curling Tour" held the previous season. The first season consisted of 48 events (with only one outside Canada), and was sponsored by Seagram's distillery. Teams earned points in every event with the top 30 qualifying for the season ending " V.O. Cup", today known as the Players' Championship. Its first president and CEO was Lukowich.
