Frøya Idrettslag is a Norwegian sports club based in Laksevåg, Bergen. Founded in 1928, it has sections for association football and basketball. The club's colours are orange and yellow. The club was founded on 5 November 1990 as a cooperation team between the multi-sports clubs Frøya IL, Nabeita IL, and Sistranda IL. Laksevåg is a borough of the city of Bergen in Vestland county, Norway. The borough is located in the western part of the municipality. Historically, the area was called ''Laxevaag'', and it was a separate municipality until 1972 when it was merged into Bergen. Norwegian Third Division
The Norwegian Third Division, also called 3. divisjon, is the fourth highest division of the men's football league in Norway. Like the rest of the Norwegian football league system, the season runs from spring to autumn, running approximately from April to October. After the 2010 season, the league was reorganised, reducing the number of teams to 164 and halving the number of parallel sections from 24 to 12. 2021 Norwegian Fourth Division
The 2021 season of the ''4. divisjon'', the fifth highest association football league for men in Norway. The league was consolidated: Oslo went from three to two groups, and Indre Østland's two groups were reduced in size. Teams did not necessarily play each other home and away, because the first matchday was severely delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Norway. In some districts, groups were made smaller to facilitate both home and away matches, whereas in larger groups the teams met only once.
