Frédéric Maciel
Frédéric Ferreira Maciel (born 15 March 1994) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Romanian club ASC Oțelul Galați as a right winger. Club career Born in Grenoble, France of Portuguese descent, Maciel joined FC Porto's academy at the age of 16. He made his senior debut with the reserves, going on to spend several seasons in the Segunda Liga; in 2014–15, he scored a squad-best 13 goals in 43 games to help to a 13th-place finish. On 13 July 2015, Maciel signed a three-year deal with Royal Mouscron-Péruwelz which was to be initially a one-year loan with option to buy. He was sparingly used during the campaign, with the side narrowly avoiding relegation from the Belgian First Division A. Maciel returned to his country of adoption in summer 2016, agreeing to a two-year contract at Moreirense FC. Portuguese People
The Portuguese people () are a Romance nation and ethnic group indigenous to Portugal who share a common culture, ancestry and language. The Taça da Liga (), known outside Portugal as Portuguese League Cup, is an annual football club competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP) for teams competing in the Primeira Liga and LigaPro, the top two tiers of Portuguese football. Unlike Portugal's other domestic cup competition, the Taça de Portugal, the winners do not qualify for European competitions. Daniel Podence
Daniel Castelo Podence (born 21 October 1995) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a winger for club Wolverhampton Wanderers. He started his career with Sporting CP, appearing in 40 competitive matches and also being loaned to Moreirense, with whom he won the 2017 Taça da Liga. He then joined Olympiacos, winning the 2019–20 Super League Greece. In January 2020, he signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers. Podence made his full debut for Portugal in 2020. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. The 2015–16 season of the Belgian Pro League (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 113th season of top-tier football in Belgium. It started in the last week of July 2015 and finished in May 2016. Gent were the defending champions. This was the last season under the "Pro League" name; a reorganisation of the Belgian professional leagues followed the season, with the top league to be known from 2016–17 forward as "First Division A". Rádio Renascença, also known as 'RR' or just 'Renascença' (Renaissance in English), is a private, commercial radio station in Portugal, owned by various organizations within the Portuguese Catholic Church: among others, the Patriarchate of Lisbon.
