Frost (Australian Band)
Frost were an Australian pop rock band, which formed in 1997 by Benny Bishop on keyboards, Lee "Lemon" Trevena on lead vocals and Tim "Porn" Powne on bass guitar. They have used several drummers including Jerry Speiser (ex- Men at Work) from 2002 to 2006. History Frost were formed in Melbourne as a pop rock band in February 1997 with Lee "Lemon" Trevena on lead vocals, piano and guitar, Tim "Porn" Powne on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Benny Bishop on keyboards (ex-ABBAration). Jerry Speiser
Jerry Harold Speiser (born 12 August 1953) is an Australian musician. He is best known as the drummer and a founding member of 1980s pop/ new wave group Men at Work, Note: n-lineversion established at White Room Electronic Publishing Pty Ltd in 2007 and was expanded from the 2002 edition. which had Australian, US and UK hits with their singles "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Down Under" and their albums '' Business as Usual'' and ''Cargo''. He left the band in 1984 and was a member of other groups including FX, One World and Frost. MGM Distribution (Metropolitan Groove Merchants) is the largest independent distributor of Australian music and music related merchandise and was established in April 1998 by Sebastian Chase. MGM Distribution was specifically set up as a distribution hub to service independent labels and artists. MGM Distribution is totally focused on a specific agenda - dealing with retail, promoting its releases to retail, ensuring that orders are filled correctly and dispatched expediently. Jess McAvoy is a Brooklyn-based performing artist, songwriter and musician who was born in Perth, Western Australia. Their career spans over two decades and thirteen self-funded and self-produced studio recordings. McAvoy has toured extensively across Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States. Dreadnaught (band)
Dreadnaught is a metal band from Melbourne, Australia. The group was formed out of the remnants of some Tasmanian bands including Fridge from Launceston who recorded an album in 1994. The band recorded a single titled ''Flowers'' in 1995 that was released on cassette by Melbourne label Subversive. The following year the full-length album '' Body.Blood.Skin.Mind'' saw release on Deported. This album displayed a combination of dark, introspective rock and melodic, progressive thrash metal. Citing a breach of contract from the label that stemmed from inadequate promotion, Dreadnaught had the album re-released on BlahBlahBlah Records in 1997. Pseudo Echo are an Australian new wave band that formed in 1982 by founding mainstay Brian Canham on vocals, guitar and keyboards. Other original members were Pierre Gigliotti (as Pierre Pierre) on bass keyboards and bass guitar, and Tony Lugton on keyboards. Pop Rock
