Frohsdorf
Lanzenkirchen is a market town in the district of Wiener Neustadt-Land in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. Geography Lanzenkirchen is situated on the river Leitha, south of the city Wiener Neustadt, at the foot of the Rosaliengebirge mountain range. The municipality consists of five Katastralgemeinden: Lanzenkirchen, Frohsdorf, Haderswörth, Kleinwolkersdorf and Ofenbach. History Origin of the place names in Lanzenkirchen ''Lanzenkirchen'': The name comes from a German settler who built a church. His name was ''Anzo'' or ''Lanzo''. Schloss Frohsdorf
Schloss Frohsdorf is a castle-like complex in Lanzenkirchen in Niederösterreich and was built 1547–50 out of the ruins of the so-called "Krotenhof". After similar devastation in the year 1683 it was largely altered and renovated in the Baroque style. Greatly damaged by the Second World War the palace was restored between 1968 and 1971 by the Austrian postal service. A market town is a settlement most common in Europe that obtained by custom or royal charter, in the Middle Ages, a market right, which allowed it to host a regular market; this distinguished it from a village or city. Wiener Neustadt (; ; Central Bavarian: ''Weana Neistod'') is a city located south of Vienna, in the state of Lower Austria, in northeast Austria. It is a self-governed city and the seat of the district administration of Wiener Neustadt-Land District. The Leitha (; or , formerly ; Czech and sk, Litava) is a river in Austria and Hungary, a right tributary of the Danube. It is long ( including its source river Schwarza). Its basin area is . Postal codes in Austria were introduced in 1966 and consist of four digits.
