''Freek Show'' is the second studio album by American hip-hop duo Twiztid. Released on October 31, 2000, the album peaked at #51 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Music ''Freek Show'' is a horrorcore and rap metal album which incorporates elements of other genres into its sound, including techno and pop. "People Are Strange" is a cover of the 1967 single by the Doors from its '' Strange Days'' album. Reception In his review of the album, AllMusic's Brad Mills wrote that "this kind of music appeals to a small sector of hip-hop listeners and will probably do well within tsniche market, but the average hip-hop listener will just have to understand that this is a different kind of album." Exclaim! reviewer Thomas Quinlan wrote, "''Freek Show'' is not as good as Twiztid's ''Mostatesteless'' debut, but their second outing is a good attempt to match it". Twiztid
Twiztid is an American hip hop duo from Detroit, Michigan, known for both their horror-themed lyrics and rock influenced sound. Formed in 1997, Twiztid is composed of rappers Jamie "Madrox" Spaniolo and Paul "Monoxide" Methric. Spaniolo and Methric are also members of the group House of Krazees with Bryan "The R.O.C." Jones, which formed in 1992. Twiztid released their debut album, ''Mostasteless'', in 1998. Since then, they have released 16 full-length studio albums, 14 extended plays, 17 compilation albums, two mixtapes, and numerous singles. Dark Lotus was an American hip hop group based in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Formed in 1998 as a side project of Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid, Dark Lotus was best known as a representative of the horrorcore subgenre. ''Pony Down (Prelude)'' is the debut EP by American hip hop duo Drive-By, which consists of Anybody Killa and Blaze Ya Dead Homie. It was released on October 4, 2005, under Psychopathic Records. Primarily produced by the Soopa Villainz (with the exception of Fritz the Cat producing "The Arrival"), the EP's sound is based on old school hip hop, which "throws back to classic bass tracks, from a time when trunks thumped and big bass bumped; an album that is straight rap patterns, with tight rhythm and loud sound." James Lowery (born June 26, 1974), also known as Anybody Killa, or ABK, is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan, United States, whose stage persona is that of a Native American warrior. He was signed to Psychopathic Records, but is now under his own label Native World Inc. Prior to performing as ''ABK'' he performed as Native Funk. Early years (1980s) Lowery was raised on the east side of Detroit. His parents were from Pembroke, North Carolina. Lowery's father was a preacher. His aunt and mother taught him about Native American heritage, telling him Cherokee and Lumbee legends and teaching him about dreamcatchers. Lowery started making music at a young age, using anything he could find as instruments, and began writing his own songs at the age of 13. Three 6 Mafia is an American Hip hop music, hip hop group from Memphis, Tennessee, formed in 1991. Emerging as a horror-themed underground hip hop group, they would eventually go on to enjoy mainstream success. The Doors
The Doors were an American Rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965, with vocalist Jim Morrison, keyboardist Ray Manzarek, guitarist Robby Krieger, and drummer John Densmore. They were among the most controversial and influential rock acts of the 1960s, partly due to Morrison's lyrics and voice, along with his erratic stage persona. Chris Rouleau, also known as Blaze Ya Dead Homie or simply Blaze (born April 27, 1976), is an American rapper from Mt. Clemens, Michigan. A representative of the hip hop subgenres gangsta rap and horrorcore, his stage persona is a resurrected gang member who had been killed in the late 1980s. Richard Murrell is an American guitarist and singer from Detroit, Michigan, United States, better known as Legz Diamond. A former member of the rock band Coup Detroit, Murrell is best known as an affiliate of the hip hop duo Insane Clown Posse, for which he has provided production work, guitar and backing vocals and has also served as a Ring Announcer on their JCW wrestling tours. In 2013, Murrell signed as a solo artist with Psychopathic Records. Career Murrell served as the guitarist of the rock band Coup Detroit during the 1990s. Producer Mike E. ''Bizzar'' is the seventh studio album by the American hip hop group Insane Clown Posse. Released on October 31, 2000 by Island Records (in association with Psychopathic Records), it is the second half of the ''Bizzar Bizaar'' double album, released the same day as its companion album, ''Bizaar''.
