Dark Lotus
Dark Lotus was an American hip hop group based in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Formed in 1998 as a side project of Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid, Dark Lotus was best known as a representative of the horrorcore subgenre. From 1998 to 2017, Dark Lotus' lineup changed multiple times, with the most consistent members of the group being Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Jamie Madrox, Monoxide and Blaze Ya Dead Homie. History Initially in 1998, Dark Lotus was announced as a supergroup of artists that were signed to Psychopathic Records. Zug Izland
Zug Izland is an American rock band from Detroit, Michigan, United States, currently signed to Psychopathic Records. The group sometimes refers to its fans as " zuggalos". Background Zug Izland formed in 2001, named after an industrial site near Detroit. The band was formed by Insane Clown Posse member Violent J (Joseph Bruce) and Mike Puwal, out of Bruce's love of rock music. Bruce wanted to know what a "Juggalo Rock" band would sound like. Zug Izland's songs were written and developed during the recording of Insane Clown Posse's album '' The Wraith: Shangri-La''. Bruce and Puwal completed the basic tracks for two songs, but still required a lead singer. Bruce wanted a singer similar to Kurt Cobain, Eddie Vedder, Jim Morrison or Axl Rose. ''Freek Show'' is the second studio album by American hip-hop duo Twiztid. Released on October 31, 2000, the album peaked at #51 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Music ''Freek Show'' is a horrorcore and rap metal album which incorporates elements of other genres into its sound, including techno and pop. ''Bizaar'' is the sixth studio album by the American hip hop group Insane Clown Posse. Released on October 31, 2000 by Island Records in association with Psychopathic Records, it is the first half of the ''Bizaar Bizzar'' double album, released the same day as its companion album, ''Bizzar''. It is the 14th overall release by Insane Clown Posse. Release and reception On the August 20, 1999, episode of ''The Howard Stern Show'', Insane Clown Posse clashed with fellow guest Sharon Osbourne, and she bet Violent J $50,000 that ICP's next album would not sell more than 200,000 copies, and that it would be subsequently dropped from its distributor. ''Mostasteless'' is the debut album by American hip hop duo Twiztid, released on August 4, 1998 by Psychopathic Records. The album was reissued in 1999 with distribution by Island Records and a drastically altered track listing, with tracks added and removed. Conception Background Jamie Spaniolo (Mr. Bones) and Paul Methric (Hektic), along with The R.O.C., formed the rap trio House of Krazees in 1993. The group released five albums before disbanding in 1997. After the split, Methric and Spaniolo sent a demo tape to Insane Clown Posse member Violent J. The demo contained the tracks "2nd Hand Smoke," "Diemuthafuckadie," and "How Does It Feel?" Bruce was extremely impressed, invited Methric and Spaniolo to perform on 'The House of Horrors Tour', and signed them to Psychopathic Records. A hotline is a point-to-point communications link in which a call is automatically directed to the preselected destination without any additional action by the user when the end instrument goes off-hook.
