''Free Spirit'' is the eleventh studio album by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler, released in Europe on 3 October 1995, by EastWest Records and in the United States on 26 March 1996 by Atlantic Records. Tyler recorded the album with numerous producers, and it was her first album release in the UK and the US since ''Hide Your Heart (album), Hide Your Heart'' (1988). The album saw only moderate success in a small number of European countries, peaking highest in Norway at no. 22. Four singles were released in support of the album, with "Making Love Out of Nothing at All, Making Love (Out of Nothing at All)" narrowly missing the UK Top 40. Bonnie Tyler
Gaynor Sullivan (née Hopkins; born 8 June 1951), known professionally as Bonnie Tyler, is a Welsh singer who is known for her distinctive husky voice. Tyler came to prominence with the release of her 1977 album '' The World Starts Tonight'' and its singles " Lost in France" and " More Than a Lover". Her 1978 single "It's a Heartache" reached number four on the UK Singles Chart, and number three on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. In the 1980s, Tyler ventured into rock music with songwriter and producer Jim Steinman. ''Silhouette in Red'' is the tenth studio album by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. It was released on 11 October 1993, through Hansa Records. The album became Tyler's final collaboration with German producer Dieter Bohlen. The album was released in mainland Europe and was a commercial success. The album was certified Gold in Norway through pre-sales, one day before it was released. Background ''Silhouette in Red'' was Tyler's third and final release with Hansa Records, following ''Bitterblue'' (1991) and ''Angel Heart'' (1992). Compass Point Studios was a music recording studio in the The Bahamas, Bahamas, founded in 1977 by Chris Blackwell, the owner of Island Records. The concept of the studio was of a recording facility supported by in-house sets of artists, musicians, producers and engineers, all dedicated to a specific and recognisable sound and style. Jeffrey Lynne (born 30 December 1947) is an English musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the co-founder of the rock music, rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), which was formed in 1970. ''Hide Your Heart'' is the seventh studio album by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. It was released on 9 May 1988 through CBS Records. In North and South America, it was released through Columbia Records under the alternative title ''Notes from America''. Tyler recorded the album with producer Desmond Child at Bearsville Studios in New York, and many of the tracks later became hit singles for other artists, most notably "The Best" for Tina Turner.
