Free European Song Contest 2020
The Free European Song Contest 2020 was the first edition of the Free European Song Contest, organised by the German television network ProSieben and the production company Brainpool TV. It served as an alternative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, which was planned to be held in Rotterdam, Netherlands, but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The show was broadcast on 16 May 2020 at 20:15 CEST on the television channel ProSieben. It was presented by Steven Gätjen and Conchita Wurst. The show was also broadcast on the Austrian private television broadcaster Puls 24 with commentary by Tamara Mascara, Dori Bauer and Patrick Fux. ProSieben Austria and ProSieben Schweiz also took the live feed. Brainpool TV GmbH is a German television production company located in Cologne. It was a subsidiary of VIVA Medien AG between 2001 and 2006, until a management buyout in January 2007, now owned by Banijay. The film '' Stromberg – The Movie'' was crowdfunded with €1,000,000 in one week by 3,000 fans in December 2011. At the beginning of 2019 it was announced that Banijay Germany CEO and shareholder Marcus Wolter had been appointed as the new managing director. Eurovision Song Contest 2014
The Eurovision Song Contest 2014 was the 59th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, following the country's victory at the with the song "Only Teardrops" by Emmelie de Forest. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), the contest was held at B&W Hallerne, and consisted of two semi-finals on 6 and 8 May, and a final on 10 May 2014. The three live shows were presented by Danish television presenter Lise Rønne, musician Nikolaj Koppel and actor Pilou Asbæk. Sion Hill (singer)
Sion Hill is a National Historic Landmark in Havre de Grace, Maryland, notable as an example of high-style Federal architecture and as the home of a family of prominent officers of the United States Navy. Work began at Sion Hill around 1785 for the Rev. John Ireland, but progressed slowly, as the unfinished house was sold in 1795 to Gordon Denison.
