Frederick Moore (politician)
Frederick "Eric" Moore is an American politician who served as a member of the Montana Legislature. He was first elected on November 2, 2010 to Senate District 20. Early life and education Moore, originally from Colorado, Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture science from Montana State University. Career In the 2011 session, Moore was appointed to the Business & Labor, Education, and Agriculture committees. In 2013, he served as a majority whip. Moore served District 20 until being redistricted in 2015, and now represents District 37, which includes all of Carter, Garfield, McCone, and Prairie Counties, and parts of Fallon, Powder River and Wibaux Counties, Montana. Kenneth Bogner is an American politician from the state of Montana. He is a member of the Montana Senate, representing the 19th district. Early life and career Bogner served in the United States Marine Corps as a combat engineer. He completed two tours of duty in the Middle East during the Iraq War. After he completed his military service, Bogner utilized the G.I. Bill to earn his bachelor's degree in political science from Columbia University. He also earned a Master of Public Policy from Middlesex University. Powder River County is a county in the U.S. state of Montana. As of the 2020 census, the population was 1,694. Its county seat is Broadus. History Powder River County's area was probably first entered by Europeans when French trappers worked its streams in the early 1800s. In 1865 the federal government sent soldiers (Powder River Expedition) to the Powder River country to combat Native Americans from the Cheyenne, Lakota Sioux, and Arapaho tribes. September 1865 saw several skirmishes ( Powder River Battles) near present-day Broadus. On March 17, 1876, the Battle of Powder River occurred in the south-central part of the county, about southwest of Broadus. Duane Ankney (born April 14, 1946) is a Republican member of the Montana Senate representing District 20. Ankney was a member of Montana House of Representatives for District 43, which represents a portion of the Yellowstone County area from 2007 to 2015. Matthew Martin Rosendale Sr. (born July 7, 1960) is an American politician and businessman from Montana. A member of the Republican Party, he is the U.S. representative for Montana's at-large congressional district, elected in 2020.
