Frauentausch
''Frauentausch'' is a German docu-soap with the same premise as the British television show '' Wife Swap''. The concept involves temporarily swapping one family member between two families. The docu-soap premiered on 14 July 2003. The show runs every Thursday at 9:15 p.m. as part of the evening lineup of commercial broadcast channel RTL II. It is produced by Constantin Entertainment GmbH. Reruns are shown on weekday mornings. Content Each episode of the Docu-soap shows two women—as well as, alternatively, one or two (homosexual) men—who swap households and live with another family for 10 days. The 90-minute program depicts how the participants struggle with, among other things, homesickness, a longing for their families and problems adapting to the environment. Wife Swap (UK TV Series)
''Wife Swap'' is a British reality television programme produced by independent television production company RDF Media and created by Stephen Lambert for Channel 4, first broadcast in 2003 and ran for 7 years before being cancelled. The show returned for a one-off special episode on 15 June 2017. In the programme, two families, usually from different social classes and lifestyles, swap wives/mothers – and sometimes husbands – for two weeks. In fact, the programme will usually deliberately swap wives with dramatically different lifestyles, such as a messy wife swapping with a fastidiously neat one. Despite using a phrase from the swinging lifestyle, couples participating in the show do not share a bed with the "swapped" spouse while "swapping" homes. A-Teens (stylized as A★TEENS or A*Teens) were a Swedish pop music group from Stockholm, Sweden, formed by Niklas Berg in 1998 originally as an ABBA tribute band called ABBA-Teens and was later renamed A-Teens. The band members were Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevald and Sara Lumholdt. The band's debut album became a success around the world. In 2001, following their second album, '' Teen Spirit'', it was reported that the band had sold 2 million copies.
