Frank Hannah (born 15 February 1971 in Clydebank, Scotland) is a Scottish-born screenwriter and filmmaker. Career He wrote the film ''The Cooler'' with Wayne Kramer. Hannah wrote the script ''Damage'' specifically for former wrestler Steve Austin. Hannah wrote the script for the action movie ''Hunt to Kill'', again with Steve Austin. Awards Hannah was nominated for a 2004 Golden Satellite Award and a 2004 Edgar Allan Poe Award (along with Wayne Kramer) for his screenplay to ''The Cooler''. ''The Cooler'' is a 2003 American crime drama film directed by Wayne Kramer, from a screenplay by Frank Hannah and Kramer. The film stars William H. Macy, Maria Bello, Shawn Hatosy, Ron Livingston, Estella Warren, Paul Sorvino, and Alec Baldwin. Wayne Kramer (filmmaker)
Wayne Kramer (born 26 May 1965) is a filmmaker and storyboard artist. Kramer has written and directed films such as the 2003 film ''The Cooler'', which garnered an Oscar nomination for its star Alec Baldwin, as well as two Golden Globe nominations for Baldwin and Maria Bello. He also adapted his 1995 short film "Crossing Over" into a feature-length version which starred Harrison Ford, Ray Liotta, Ashley Judd and Jim Sturgess, and was released by the Weinstein Company in 2009. He also wrote the screenplay for the film ''Mindhunters'', but the final script was heavily rewritten by others and bore little resemblance to Kramer's original work. Career Kramer first began directing with the 1992 film ''Blazeland'', which was never completed. ''Hunt to Kill'' is a 2010 Canadian-American direct-to-video action film starring Steve Austin, Gil Bellows, and Eric Roberts. Plot The film begins with border patrol agent Jim Rhodes and his partner Lee exploring a seemingly abandoned trailer in Texas. Prior to entering the trailer Lee gives Jim a watch made from climbing rope that can be used as emergency gear.
