Frank Gaines (basketball)
Frank Brandon Gaines (born July 7, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Fos Provence Basket of the LNB Pro A. He played college basketball for Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne. High school career Gaines attended Boyd H. Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. As a senior, he averaged 16.7 points and 7.0 rebounds per game for head coach Eugene Richardson. Gaines helped lead Boyd Anderson to a 30–2 record, eventually losing in the Florida 6A State Final. College career After redshirting his freshman season in 2008–09, he made his debut for the Mastodons in the 2009–10 season. In his redshirted freshman season, he played 31 games (one start), averaging 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game. In his sophomore season, he became a go-to offensive and rebounding force for the Mastodons, going on to earn All-Summit League Honorable Mention honors. IPFW Mastodons Men's Basketball
The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball team that represents Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). They have been a member of the Horizon League since 2020 (departing from the Summit League after thirteen years). Formerly, they represented the now defunct Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). The team has yet to participate in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Summit League
The Summit League, or The Summit, is an NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletic conference with its membership mostly located in the Midwestern United States from Illinois on the East of the Mississippi River to the Dakotas and Nebraska on the West, with additional members in the Western United States, Western state of Colorado and the Southern United States, Southern state of Oklahoma. Fos Provence Basket, also known as Fos-sur-mer, is a professional basketball team based in Fos-sur-mer, France. Pallacanestro Trieste 2004 is an Italian professional basketball club based in Trieste. They play in the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) since the 2018–19 season.
