Frank Elegar
Frank Roderick Elegar (born December 3, 1986) is a U.S. Virgin Islands-Guyanese professional basketball player who last played for Napoli Basket of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He can play as either a center or a power forward. College career After playing for St. Raymond High School for Boys in his hometown Bronx, New York, he committed to Drexel University for 2004 over interest from other Division I (NCAA) colleges Hofstra, Marist and Canisius. Rarely playing in his freshman season, he had the biggest offensive improvement of the whole conference the next, starting the majority of games and regularly scoring in double figures whilst ranking amongst the conference's best at blocking and rebounding. The 2006 Men's Central American and Caribbean Basketball Championship, also known as 2006 Centrobasket, was hosted in Panama City, Panama. The Centrobasket is a FIBA-sponsored international basketball tournament where national teams from Central America and the Caribbean participate. These countries make up the Central American and Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CONCENCABA). The 2016–17 VTB United League was the 8th complete season of the VTB United League. It is also the fourth season that the league functions as the Russian domestic first tier level. The Korvpalli Meistriliiga ( en, Basketball Champions League), known as the OlyBet Korvpalli Meistriliiga for sponsorship reasons, is the highest tier level and most important professional basketball league in Estonia. It is controlled by the Estonian Basketball Association. The first Estonian Basketball Championship tournament was held in 1925. During Soviet era (1941–1991) the league was called the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic Championship.
