Franco Purini
Franco Purini, born as Francesco Purini (Isola del Liri, 9 November 1941), is an Italian architect, essayist, and university professor. He has designed many buildings, including the Torre Eurosky in Rome. He studied architecture in Rome with , earning his degree in 1971, spending his free time in the company of Franco Libertucci, Achille Perilli, and Lorenzo Taiuti. After his first work experience with and Vittorio Gregotti, starting in 1969 mainly in Florence and Cosenza Universities, he joined the workshop "" and after a brief period of teaching in Reggio Calabria and Rome he became a professor at the IUAV, University of Architecture in Venice. From 2003, he has taught at the La Sapienza University in Rome. For his accomplishments in his field, as an architect and theoretician, he was elected Accademico Corrispondente in the Academy of Arts and Drawings of Florence. Isola Del Liri
Isola del Liri (simply known as ''Isola Liri'', Campanian: ) is an Italian town of Lazio, Italy, in the province of Frosinone. As its name implies, Isola is situated between two arms of the Liri. The many waterfalls of this river and of the Fibreno are used by factories. Achille Perilli
Achille Perilli (28 January 1927 – 16 October 2021) was an Italian painter and sculptor. Biography Born in Rome on 28 January 1927, Achille Perilli attended classical secondary school and earned a degree in literature with a thesis on Giorgio de Chirico. After World War II, he founded the group Forma 1 alongside Carla Accardi, Ugo Attardi, Pietro Consagra, , and Giulio Turcato. He was a master in abstractionism, as seen in his exhibitions at the Venice Biennale in 1952, 1958, 1962, and 1968. From 1948 to 1986, he participated in the Rome Quadriennale on five separate occasions. From 1963 to 1964, he participated in the touring exhibition ''Peintures italiennes d'aujourd'hui'' in Beyrouth, Damas, Teheran, Ankara and Tunis. Vittorio Gregotti
Vittorio Gregotti (10 August 1927 – 15 March 2020) was an Italian architect, born in Novara. He was seen as both a member of the Neo-Avant Garde and a key figure in 1970s Postmodernism. Biography Gregotti was born in Novara, in the Italian Piedmont, and attended the Politecnico di Milano. He worked as a contributor to ''Casabella'', an architectural magazine, and was its editor-in-chief from 1955 to 1963. Gregotti founded his own studio, Gregotti Associati International, in 1974 but also lectured on architectural theory and curated several exhibits in Italy. His studio has designed several important sports venues and cultural buildings, such as the Barcelona Olympic Stadium, the Belém Cultural Center in Lisbon, the Arcimboldi Opera Theater in Milan and several university campuses, including that of the University of Calabria. Paolo Portoghesi (born 2 November 1931, Rome) is an Italian architect, theorist, historian and professor of architecture at the University La Sapienza in Rome. He is a former president of the architectural section of the Venice Biennale (1979–92), Editor-in-chief of the journal ''Controspazio'' (1969–83), and dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano university (1968–78). __NOTOC__ Portoghesi studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Rome, completing his studies in 1957.
