Franco Lamanna
Franco Lamanna (born 5 October 1991 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan rugby union player. He currently plays as a flanker (rugby union), flanker and Lock (rugby union), lock for Rugby Mogliano, Mogliano in Top12. Lamanna started playing rugby in his local team Carrasco Polo Club in Uruguay. In mid 2014, he went to Europe to play for CUS Perugia Rugby in the Italy, Italian Serie A (rugby union), Serie A. In October 2014, during the game against the National Academy Ivan Francescato, he ruptured his left anterior cruciate ligament and had to be operated urgently. He recovered successfully from the injury and returned to his country to play again for Carrasco Polo Club. In 2015 he takes part of the Uruguayan National team at the RWC2015 and then in January 2016 he returns to play one season for CUS Perugia Rugby. The Uruguay national rugby union team (Spanish: '' Selección de rugby de Uruguay'') represents Uruguay in men's international rugby union nicknamed ''Los Teros'', is governed by the Unión de Rugby del Uruguay. One of the older test sides in the world, Uruguay has qualified five times for the Rugby World Cup, in 1999, 2003, 2015, 2019 and most recently 2023. National One (last season known as National League 1 and previously known before September 2009 as National Division Two), is the third of three national leagues in the domestic rugby union competition of England. It was known as Courage League National Division Three when founded in 1987. Caldy are the current champions. The Rugby Football Union (RFU) approved a new structure for the National Leagues from the 2022–23 season. This division will be reduced to fourteen teams, playing each other on a home and away basis to make a total of 26 matches each. The champions are promoted to the RFU Championship and the bottom three teams are relegated to either National Two East, National Two North or National Two West depending on the geographical location of the team. Anterior Cruciate Ligament
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation.
