Francisco Urquidi
Juan Francisco Urquidi Márquez (16 July 1881 – 14 December 1938) was a Mexican politician and diplomat who served as envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary of Mexico to Colombia from 8 October 1923 to 21 November 1927, and as envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary of Mexico to El Salvador from 5 June 1928 to 16 March 1930. From 15 May to 29 October 1914, he also served as confidential agent of President Venustiano Carranza in the United States. Biography Urquidi was born on 16 July 1881 in Mexico City into a wealthy family with ancestry in Chihuahua. His father was Francisco de Paula Urquidi Cárdeña (1821-1881) and his mother Catalina Márquez Barraza (1835-1896). Venustiano Carranza
José Venustiano Carranza de la Garza (; 29 December 1859 – 21 May 1920) was a Mexican wealthy land owner and politician who was Governor of Coahuila when the constitutionally elected president Francisco I. Madero was overthrown in a February 1913 right-wing military coup. Known as the ''Primer Jefe'' or "First Chief" of the Constitutionalist faction in the Mexican Revolution, Carranza was a shrewd civilian politician. He supported Madero's challenge to the Díaz regime in the 1910 elections, but became a critic of Madero once Díaz was overthrown in May 1911. Madero did appoint him the governor of Coahuila. When Madero was murdered during the February 1913 counter-revolutionary coup, Carranza drew up the Plan of Guadalupe, a purely political plan to oust Madero's usurper, General Victoriano Huerta. The Town of Franklin is a city in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. Franklin is one of thirteen Massachusetts municipalities that have applied for, and been granted, city forms of government but wish to retain "The town of" in their official names. Dean College
Dean College is a private college in Franklin, Massachusetts. It offers bachelor's degrees, associate degrees, and continuing and professional education and certificates. History Dean College was founded by Dr. Oliver Dean as a co-educational academy in 1865. Dr. Dean was an enthusiastic benefactor of the academy and donated approximately nine acres of land for the site of the school and donated $125,000 towards its construction. After the groundbreaking ceremony held earlier in the year, the first class at Dean Academy began on October 1, 1866, with 44 students attending. The students held class at the local Universalist Church. Dean Hall, the main building of Dean Academy, was not finished until 1868.
