Francesco Paolo Fulci
Francesco Paolo Fulci (19 March 1931 – 21 January 2022) was an Italian diplomat who served as Ambassador to the United Nations. Education Fulci graduated with honours in law in 1953 from the University of Messina and obtained a master's degree in comparative law at Columbia University, New York, where he studied as a Fulbright scholar from 1954 to 1955. He later received the diploma from The Hague Academy of International Law, and attended the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, from 1955 to 1956. Early diplomatic career Fulci entered the Italian foreign service in 1956. He served as secretary-general of Italy's Executive Committee for Intelligence and Security from 1991 until 1993. From 1985 to 1991, he was Italy's Ambassador to the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) in Brussels. From 1980 to 1985, Ambassador Fulci served as Italy's ambassador to Canada.
