Francesco Laporta
Francesco Laporta (born 10 October 1990) is an Italian professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won two tournaments on the 2019 Challenge Tour. Amateur career Laporta started playing as a 13-year old at the San Domenico Golf in Brindisi and developed his amateur career in Italy and South Africa. After playing in a few professional tournaments in the Alps Tour as an amateur, he turned professional in 2013 on the Sunshine Tour. Professional career Between 2013 and 2015 Laporta played full time in the Sunshine Tour, reaching his best career professional finish with a tie for second at the 2013 Zimbabwe Open where he also set a course record. At the end of 2015, Laporta earned his 2016 European Tour card at the Qualifying School. Laporta's best result in the 2016 European Tour season came at the Trophée Hassan II where finished T-22, after leading the competition after two rounds. European Championships (multi-sport Event)
The European Championships is a multi-sport tournament which brings together the existing European Championships of some of the continent's leading sports every four years. 2011 European Amateur Team Championship
The 2011 European Amateur Team Championship took place 5–9 July at Oceânico Golf in Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal on its Victoria Course. It was the 29th men's golf European Amateur Team Championship. Venue The course was designed by Arnold Palmer and opened in 2004. In 2016, Dom Pedro Golf acquired the Victoria Course and four other Vilamoura courses from Oceânico Golf. Format Each team consisted of 6 players, playing two rounds of stroke-play over two days, counting the five best scores each day for each team. The European Amateur Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for men organised by the European Golf Association which was introduced in 1959. The championship was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Carlo Casalegno (Turin, 15 February 1916 – Turin, 29 November 1977) was an Italian journalist and writer. He was killed by a group of four terrorists belonging to the Red Brigades; he was the first journalist ever to be killed during the Years of lead. Biography After having attended the Liceo Classico Massimo d'Azeglio, Carlo Casalegno graduated in literature at the University of Turin and then, from 1942 to 1943, he was a teacher at Palli high school in Casale Monferrato. He took part to the Italian Resistance by joining the Action Party and contributing to its newspaper "Italia libera". During the Post War period, he kept writing for the magazine "Giustizia e Libertà" which, in the meantime, had taken the place of "Italia Libera". China Tour
The China Tour is a China-based men's professional golf tours, professional golf tour run by the China Golf Association. An earlier tour, the Omega China Tour, ran from 2004 to 2009. From 2014 to 2016 the tour was organised with the PGA Tour China. From 2017 the two tours split and ran a separate schedule of events. Sebastian Heisele (born 8 August 1988) is a German professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2019 Open de Bretagne on the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Heisele was born in the Netherlands and grew up in Dubai, playing golf from the age of 12. He attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2007 to 2011, graduating with a bachelor's degree in architecture. Challenge Tour Grand Final
The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final is the season-ending tour championship on the Challenge Tour. The field currently consists of the top 45 players on the Challenge Tour rankings vying for fifteen European Tour cards. It has been played annually since 1995. Initially it was played in Portugal, but has since been held in Cuba, France, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Spain. Robin Roussel
Robin Roussel (born 26 August 1993) is a French professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. In May 2019, he won the Hauts de France – Pas de Calais Golf Openon the Challenge Tour. Professional career As an amateur, Roussel reached the final stage of the 2015 European Tour Q-school after a final round 62. Although he missed the cut in the final stage, he gained a place on the 2016 Challenge Tour. He turned professional before the start of the season. Roussel only made the cut in 5 of the 15 events he played and finished 149th in the Order of Merit. At the end of 2016, he finished 6th the Alps Tour Q-school to gain a place on the tour for 2017.
