Fountain Green is a city in Sanpete County, Utah, United States. The population was 1,071 at the 2010 census. History Fountain Green was originally called "Uintah Springs", and under the latter name settlement was made in 1859. A post office called Fountain Green has been in operation since 1860. The present name is for springs and green pastures near the original town site. Geography Fountain Green is located at (39.627653, -111.639310). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , all land. Demographics As of the census of 2010, there were 1071 people and 370 households, 88.4% of which were occupied housing units. The population density was 705 people per square mile. Santaquin ( ) is a city in Utah and Juab counties in the U.S. state of Utah. It is part of the Provo–Orem metropolitan area. The population was 13,725 at the 2020 census. Payson is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo–Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 21,101 at the 2020 census. History Pioneers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led by James Edward Pace Jr. first settled what is now Payson, Utah. On Sunday, October 20, 1850, Pace with his family and the families of John Courtland Searle and Andrew Jackson Stewart, totaling 16 settlers in all, arrived at their destination on Peteetneet Creek. Mount Pleasant is a city in the U.S. state of Utah. Located in Sanpete County, Mt. Pleasant is known for its 19th-century main street buildings, for being home to Wasatch Academy, and for being the largest city in the northern half of the county.
