Forey Duckett
Forey Duckett (born February 5, 1970) is a former cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). Biography Duckett was born William Forey Duckett on February 5, 1970, in Oakland, California. Career Duckett was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the 1993 NFL Draft. In his first season with them he did not see any playing time during the regular season. He spent the 1994 NFL season with the Bengals, the Green Bay Packers, and the Seattle Seahawks. He played at the collegiate level at the University of Nevada, Reno. Cornerback
A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses. They create turnovers through hard tackles, interceptions, and deflecting forward passes. Other members of the defensive backfield include strong and free safeties. The cornerback position requires speed, agility, strength, and the ability to make rapid sharp turns. A cornerback's skill set typically requires proficiency in anticipating the quarterback, backpedaling, executing single and zone coverage, disrupting pass routes, block shedding, and tackling. 1994 NFL Season
The 1994 NFL season was the 75th regular season of the National Football League. To honor the NFL's 75th season, a special anniversary logo was designed and each player wore a patch on their jerseys with this logo throughout the season. Also, a selection committee of media and league personnel named a special NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team, honoring the best NFL players from the first 75 seasons. The Phoenix Cardinals changed their name to Arizona Cardinals in an attempt to widen their appeal to the entire state of Arizona instead of just the Phoenix area.
